Kelly was right to send Amelia home. She doesn't appeal to the public.

Think it is funny how everyone hated Kelly for it. Amelia comes back, everyone thinks she will win it. Then no, she is in the bottom 2. Funny.

The only reason shw was in the bottom two was sing choice. The two acts with the worse sings were in the bottom two. People tend to vote more for the song than the performer these days.

If anyone has a bad song choice next week no matter who they are I can see them being in the bottom two.

Two consecutive nights of hollering should have seen her go home. Again.

Well its not. Most people i talk to seem to think she isn't great. They think she is stuck up. She isn't likeable!

It's not about song choice. Why do people keep banging on about that? If a singer is supposed to be versatile and have the X Factor, then they should be able to nail any song thrown at them. Stop blaming the songs, blame the 'talent' or lack of.

Well most people I have spoken too think she is the only person left in the competition who could have any sort of long term career.

The real problem is now is that there are way too many acts competing to have music careers who have come out from the X Factor and next year there will be the Voice too. There will be many more failures then success stories from now on as the market is just getting saturated.

Posting the same old tired opinion doesn't make it fact, Amelia had a poor week but she will bounce back. Only Little Mix stand in her way.

Well obviously the people you talk to are in the minority as she was in the bottom 2!

I really dont see the point in these hate on a 16 year old threads. Lets laugh at the 16 year old, lets all hate on Amelia yayyyyyy, shes a failure everybody laugh with me and pat me on my back (yes). Its the same with Janet not a lover of her, but I dont get the point in people hating on her with vile comments.

As Ive already told you it was down to the song. Both Craig and Amelia had the worse songs and thats what people judge at the end of the show.

It's her 'I deserve to be here' attitude that puts me off. Imagine the reaction if one of the others said that

Amelia won the public vote fair and square to get back in, people might have become complacent and thought she was safe. I think she is great and a breath of fresh air the public dont seem to warm ti Misha B has she has been in the bottom two it wasnt her song choice this week VT helped.

Amelia will come back stronger for this, and I can't wait for her success to annoy you even more.

Ameila just had a crap song choice. She and all other acts get two songs next week, so there is her proper chance to show off.

It's not about an ability to sing a song though, it's about how well known a song is or if it's well liked.

People are far more likely to enjoy a performance of a song they know and like than one they don't.

I think it is the song choice. Plus, I don't think any of the acts bar Little Mix are that versatle. Misha is not that versatle, Janet is definitely not versatle, Craig is not that versatle and sadly, neither is Marcus (as fantastic as he is). I actually think Ameila is the most versitle, I think she did it really well; the public just didn't connect to that style. The public never connect to different styles imo.

I can definitely see your point (especially with Licence to Kill - surely The World is Not Enough would've been better?!) However, it's sometimes not about how well known it is - I had never heard Don't Let Go before yet I adored Little Mix's performance of it on Saturday.

It clearly IS fact that Amelia isn't popular with the public! Or she wouldn't have been in the bottom two...

Yes, she got voted back in but her competition then was Jonjo, 2shoes and James - hardly the same as competing with LittleMix, Marcus and co.

We had a 'sob story' VT with Misha this week to help get her through - will we have one for Amelia next week

With all due respect, bull!

Both Craig and Amelia had great songs. Craig was unfortunate in that the song didn't suit him at all but Amelia's fans would have anyone who'll listen believe that she's a great singer, then when she balls up an Aretha Franklin vocal (about as demanding a female artist as you can get to even come close to) her predicament is the song choice. Not that she is merely a tiny fraction above average? No!!!!! Not that she may have only survived a performance last week that must have had Freddie Mercury's ashes scattering themselves simply because it was her first week back and she was the last one on? No!!!!!

Song choices are important but to say that people vote more for the song than the performer is ridiculous. If the performer is good, or even if they have a big enough fanbase, they could sing the Yellow Pages and still be voted through.

Are you suggesting The World is Not Enough is better known than Licence to Kill? Seriously? Not to mention that The World is Not Enough is a tuneless drone that wouldn't show off anyone's vocals.

Marcus isn't versatile? That has to go down as the funniest thing I've read so far today.

Do we known if she was even close to Craig's number of votes? For all we know he could have been WAY below here, and she might have been just a few votes below everyone else.

Being in the bottom two once doesn't mean much - even more so on Week 7.

Interesting to note that Week 7 was when both Olly Murs and JLS were in the bottom two, both of whom went on to finish second and arguably have both overshadowed the winners in terms of success

Agreed, but they're both dull songs from dull Bond movies. There are SO many amazing Bond themes he could have chosen. Virtually any song bar those two, Die Another Day, and All Time High.

Obviously the quality of the movie shouldn't be important, but it doesn't help when the song is inextricably connected with a little-loved film. And I swear, those four worst bond songs are from the four worst movies (caveat, I've not seem Quantum of Solace).

The public like Coldplay and voted for the Nazis. You can't trust the public.
