All Jeff Brazier will be doing is quoting on the Daily Star article last week that stated Janet was topping the vote (from apparent inside sources).
There is absolutely no way that he himself has any Inside access/sources himself to the voting figures.
I have no doubt Janet could be topping the vote but it certainly will never have been disclosed to someone like Jeff Brazier, just never will happen.
A leak to the Daily Star i could find somewhat credible considering their accuracy on past form on reporting the voting figures.

Could Jeff had said about Janet topping the voting (under Syco orders), to make people think she is very safe and so people are less inclined to vote for her next weekend? I suspect they are willing to sacrifice her, in order to protect Misha B, Marcus and Little Mix, to give them every chance of making the final.

Amelia could very well avoid the bottom two this week, as her fans will be more inclined to vote more, as she was in the bottom two last weekend. If any of the others are in the bottom two, then the judges could vote out Janet. They could then get rid of Amelia the following week, if there is still a judges vote. If it's totally down to the public, I expect the producers will go all out to sabotage her and try everything they can to boost the others - especially Misha.

I wouldnt believe these rumours. However thats not to say that Janet isnt top we just simply dont know.

Also dont forget Marcus and Craig split the scouse vote which will now go mainly to Marcus.

I also wouldnt be suprised to see Little Mix having a haigher share of the vote than many think.

Neither do I. Didn't they try and say that 'Jedward' were topping the vote a couple of weeks back in series 6? Then when the votes were released they had never finished anywhere near the top

We will have to all make sure we vote twice as much for Janet now incase they are saying this to try and get her voters to slow down on voting

She is getting alot of exposure on TV3's Xpose in Ireland, it airs in the south, think some might get the show in the north. She seems to be on it alot, just saw their headlines for the showing starting in a few minutes, and it's about the girl from Co.Tyrone.

I would be surprised if she is not getting a ton of votes from the whole of Ireland, when we're down in our economy we usually get behind our people even more, like the rugby team, the soccer team, and even personalities on T.V shows.

Janet seems very confident about her musical style but not overly confident about how it will be perceived by others. That kind of humility is refreshing, actually.

They have given up trying to rubbish Janet on the show - so are now reverting to other tactics to stop her winning it seems.

Make people think she is safe/topping the votes - and therefore increase the chance people won't vote for her. Then she can be bottom 2 next week or in the semi (vs Misha) and they can get rid of her at the first opportunity.

Little Mix to win, I like Janet, she is nice, but wouldn't buy her music, plus the fact she forgot the lyrics the other week and still got through annoyed me.

Well, there are only three acts which haven't made a bottom-2 appearance, so there's at least a one in three chance she's topping the poll and I have a gut feeling that this is the case, especially given the way she survived a couple of poor performances.

If she is leading, I don't think it will last much longer, though - especially with the Scouse votes going over to Marcus. (I think regional voting is over-played but I am related to people who will specifically vote Liverpool, so I know it does happen - and might well turn out to be decisive.) I may be being optimistic, though - I don't want her in the final for purely selfish reasons; there's someone at work who will be unbearably smug if he wins our pot!

Tonight on utv news they were showing as they always do, what was going on in the local community centre in janets hometown on Sunday night during the results show.
The reporter stated Janet may be topping the poles every week but everyone in Gortin is still nervous waiting on the results (or words to that effect).
