I don't think they would, but even if they did so what? It's a free country. Most of those magazines are quite tame really and they wouldn't be the first or last popstars to appear in them.

If they want to and get paid, I have no problem with it.
I also see four young women that are working hard, have been through a tough process to get together and have great voices. Hard work is not desparation, it is what is needed and the thing that Frankie had no interest in.
