The person who posted that they were not happy about the spoiler being posted before the audience/pro/celebs know is NOT a TROLL OR A WUM she is a longstanding member of this forum who was posting her opinion which the last time I looked she is entitled to do, she did not break any rules as far as I can see she was just giving a different view from the vast majority on the thread.....calling someone a troll or a wind up merchant just because you dont agree with what they say is not my definition of a troll.

She felt very strongly about what she said and was royally abused for it, one poster even said she wasnt 'welcome' on the spoiler thread. The ONLY place on these forums where someones ALTERNATIVE view is not welcome is in the appreciation section so its probably best to not lay down rules for this thread unless you prefer to have it removed to the attic with the appreciation threads.

As far as I am concerned people can say what they like as long as it doesnt break the forum rules ....if you dont agree with what someone says then just ignore them.....I usually find that works pretty well in most circumstances.”

Hear Hear.....I've refrained from getting involved but watched the weekends events unfold and I felt those two who 'dared to express an opposing opinion' were far from Trolls, and WUM and their treatment on here over the weekend was appalling.

And just to remind you all a couple of weeks previous a lot of regulars launched into a poster who had the temerity to want the spoiler results posting quicker.....that poor girl apologised profusely, admitted she didn't understand the etiquette of spoilers and by her own admission was really over excited hence her impatience over the result and her treatment on the spoiler thread was shocking.....I've never seen her on SCD board since and TBH I don't blame her one bit. Ten pages of vitriol she got from the regulars on here and no matter what she did to try and put it right she was abused.

I think the regulars on this thead, as welcoming as they think they are, need to look at how they treat the minority who hold differing opinions.....especially as the poster on Saturday night, Emma I think she was called, had no intention of upsetting the spoiler thread but held a very valid point of view that she articulated very well and was jumped all over for expressing it.

that girl on the spoiler thread on sat was just revelling in it that she'd discovered the result on here before it had been announced in the stadium - she come across as a real tell tale tit.

i found the whole episode very bitter and i hated the fact she potentially could've put someone's job on the line.

luckily the trolls were in a minority on saturday - good outweighs bad on here.

Can we please draw a line under what happened on last weeks thread?

I'm concerned that the mods will get fed up with the personal comments and continuing arguments and stop the spoiler threads alltogether, then we all lose

This.

3 pages in and this thread is still discussing past issues - issues which resulted in the previous thread being closed. If you wish to re-start this thread, feel free to do so, but please make sure that the discussion stays on-topic and that this issue is dropped completely.
