People writing off Amelia.

I think you may be in for a shock,2 songs this week and with a bounce likely ,if she performs like she can and gets decent songs she is right back in it,i think anyone of the five could win still.

traditionally winners don't appear in the bottom 2, however traditionally girl bands don't get this far either so maybe we are seeing a break from tradition this year

As you say it depends on her being given good songs and given Kellys clear bias towards Misha I would not bet on it

With the Xfactor song choice is all importent. I can see Kelly giving Amelia poor songs whilst she will give Misha good songs . With luck though the voting public will see through this bias

it's either her or janet that will get the last slot in the final.

marcus and little mix have already been booked.

I havent written any of them off. I still think anyone can win and now Craig has gone I don't really mind which.

Little Mix and Marcus are leading the bunch, however it's not really until the final 5 that we really see someone up their game, like Alex Burke did a few years back with "Listen", motown week and any of Amelia, Janet or Misha could have a "moment"

If amelia is in the bottom 2 with Misha she will be going home as the only person I can see saving her is Mr Walsh. So I hope enough people vote to keep her out of the bottom 2. Song choices will play a big part, but Kelly wants Misha in the final it is obvious.

I will admit she can sing, but there is something deeply unappealing about her

It must be the sulky looks, the lived in face and the demeanour of a jaded 25 year old

If they washed her hair dye out and used less make-up, she would be stunning. She does look very hard for a kid.

For starters she doesn't look 25 and secondly you say there's something deeply unappealing about her. That's exactly how I feel about Misha.

Anyone who is saying Kelly Rowland is bias towards Misha are so gulllible. The journalists who right these stories are upper class, posh white men who find anyway to hate on Misha B as you have seen on todays papers. Janet said on xtra factor that there was absolutely no rift between the two and you can clearly see Amelia and Misha love each other. Don't think that would be likely if Amelia suspected favouritism of Misha.

Yes they should definitely sort her hair out this week. Hopefully they will realise that she needs to do a Danyl Johnson style look change

There is something deeply unnappealing about Nikki Minaj and Mariah Carey. Does not for one second mean they won't be a successful recording artist.

She will be big in the US has they seem to embrace confidence more.

Exactly. The people who go on about her "hard" face, she can't help how her face is for crying out loud!!

Your point is?

FYI this thread is about Amelia, not Misha, and you are forgetting, people may have differing opinions to your own.

On American Idol it's not unusual for the winner to have been bottom 2, maybe we could finally follow suit. I can't see a winner other than Marcus, he's gonna set himself apart this week with the Motown theme (if that is the theme) or Little Mix though.

I think she has a realistic chance of 3rd place, although I wouldn't entirely rule out 2nd.

Marcus and LittleMix are the two to beat, we have to remember she would almost certainly would have clocked more votes than Misha if not for the sob story crap.

It's funny, I see a very attractive, sexy, edgy hot young lady with an enormous amount of presence and confidence, whereas Misha can sing (and that's it).

I really hope it's not a Motown theme, who is it that thinks up this rubbish. Of course it plays right into Marcus's hands but I really don't get Marcus's popularity, the guy simply will not sell records if he wins!

It's always the people you suspect who come out worse of a theme who come out the best, who would have though Johnny would have won the digital spy poll on rock week

I think the Motown theme will be fine. I tend to agree with you about Marcus because I think they want him in the final, but if they didn't they could very easily label him as a tribute act with their comments. I believe they want him in the final but I don't think they have any intention of letting him win.

100% spot on. That's EXACTLY how I feel. Amelia's got a great voice, stage presence, the lot. Misha's got a good voice and that's it. I don't feel anything when I watch Misha.
I certainly wouldn't write Amelia off.
