Are people just going to say she was shouting, even if she wasn't?

Personally, i thought 'Think' was a bit shouty but i definitely didn't think 'You & I' was shouty.

Has Gary given Amelia the bad reputation of a shouter? Rather than having a good reputation as a powerful singer?

I would agree with that, there wasn't many FMs saying she was shouty before Gary said it but now It seems to be the major complaint about her on here.

No doubt Gary was aware that Amelia topped the vote last week; and he has seen how effective Louis & Tulisa's tag team efforts on Misha have worked; so he has taken his opportunity to stop a potential series winner, so now it's realistically a two way fight between Little Mix & Marcus.

Janet may be doing an Eoghan Quigg with the 'Orish vote and winning most weeks, but come the final she will fail like he did when the A.N.Other option is reduced to one or two remaining competitors.

Equally Janet could be called a whisperer. It's stupid. If Amelia and Janet had to effectively switch performances on Saturday, J would have had to belt it out and A would have had to quieten down. Gary is a total moron.

Her "shouty" voice was mentioned a lot before Sundays results show. As well as her being a hard faced cow that seems incapable of showing any emotion.

I would dispute that it was mentioned alot, although i understand how ambiguous "alot" is.

Also, if anyone was 'shouting' surely it was Craig when he stuck a great big stonking note in the middle of his survival song, where it did NOT belong.

No, Gary hasn't given her a reputation as a shouter rather than a powerful singer. She is a shouter, not a powerful singer.

There is nothing musical about the noise that comes out of Amelia's mouth when she tries to sing with power. It's just loud. All volume, little tone or control.
