Don't be daft. Nick is not going to report Harry M as a weak leader because he didn't get his way on everything. Harry could be showing strength by giving up something which was unimportant to win something which was important.
The team weren't set against him either. James (quite correctly) said they ought to decide the concept first, Harry insisted on choosing a brand name. The girls said they preferred the male market. They weren't against Harry, that was their preference. Harry could easily have given them that and got his way on something else. As it was he wouldn't compromise on anything. It was his way or nothing.
Apprentice PMs repeatedly make the mistake of demanding they get their way unreasonably. Being PM does not give you dictatorial rights. It's a team game, not a PM's game with everybody else doing what they are told. "
I am the PM you must obey" kind of thing. The PM has to take the decisions, but only after consulting the team and considering alternatives.

Young blokes these days are much fussier about fragrances they use than you give them credit for. Anyway they weren't actually selling deodorant, they were pitching a brand to ad execs. I don't think it mattered which target market they chose, the market size is the same. Why everyone was so determined to get their way on that mystified me.

If I was a businessman, I'd want to do business with Harry, friendship isn't the end result of any business deal - profit is, and Harry would make a profit.”
And as I said, Gbemi was less negative and obstructive this week. She was trying to be a team player and only let the guard down at the end. She even toned down the street accent for a while.
Harry M makes a good salesman - he's got good patter with customers, but to get on in business you have to get on with other people in the organisation. Harry M has failed to get on with anyone and created trouble with his singlemindedness most tasks. I don't think he'll last long, unless he has a dramatic change of fortune.
