If the Pat thing was a set up - do you think Chrissy was in on it with the tears?

I agree, it was the most bizarre thing I've seen on this programme for a long time.

I just couldn't believe that a grown woman could cry over something like that.

Also why didnt pat and jess tell sinitta what they really thought of her instead of being fake”

good point. if you really want to 'tell it like is' why not be direct and tell sinitta to her face rather than behind her back? personally, i think crissy was being genuine and she's gone up in my estimation for showing some sympathy.

I agree - I don't think for a second Crissy was crying over a teddy, but rather the fact that they're all tired, stressed, missing home and then someone comes into camp and within a couple of days seems to go out of their way to upset someone who hasn't done him any harm (other than irritate him for being 'too nice' )

She was upset because it looked like Lorraine was being 'picked on' for want of a better phrase.

Crissy went up in my estimations last night, and Pat went down.

I would go with either of these two as well. I've seen Jess in action on The Real Hustle, and she's brilliant at what she does on there. Lorraine is an actress. If he didn't involve Lorraine at the time, I'm sure he explained himself afterwards. We shall see.

Everyone on here is applauding Pat for his genius strategy. Why not admit to Lorraine that he was doing it for the cameras to get the trial?”

How do we know he didn't?

Well, clearly the voting public were last night. It was highly predictable that he would get voted to do the task because of his 'behaviour', or be a runner up to Sinitta - and that's exactly what happened. Well done Pat!

Any of the celebs who've watched this programme in previous years know how the voting goes, and that if you act up and argue, you're more likely to get exposure by the producers. And if you're shown as antagonising the others, you will get voted to do the trial.

It wasn't a difficult one for Pat to work out and he succeeded in his mission to get the public off Sinitta's back and get some food for his camp-mates.

Well, Antony Cotton seems to start crying for any possible reason at all...... (I suspect his are for votes and screen time though)

She is an actress - a lovie - crikey they are professionals at manipulating audience emotion. They're probably all having a bloody good laugh at our expense over something that is just not important. Oh and they are all getting paid quite nicely thank you.

Its rather a shame that Lorraine Chase wanders through episodes night after night contributing bugger all whilst clutching a teddy and nobody saying a word about them- if I was the others I would want to stir emotion in them.

This is an entertainment show and they are being paid to put it on for us..

It seems quite a few posters on here thought that it was funny to see Pat mocking someone to the point of upsetting them.

What would be REALLY funny would be if he made a complete mess up of the Trial and had to go back with hardly any stars.

Yh chrissy went up in my estimations aswell and sadly pat went down, however i had a feeling pat would be like that because he seemed quite blunt when he went in to the jungle but what i didnt like was that he crossed the line with being blunt to being hurtful and intentionally upsetting someone who has been nothing but nice to everyone
