Because of various mentions of a dance proving to be a common downfall I checked the blog which is full of stats and history of SCD.

Listed going by which dance(s) a celeb danced the week when voted out.

The major contenders are:-

Samba 12
Rhumba 10

Foxtrot 7

Waltz 6

Thanks, emjon. I always thought the samba was the official Dance of Doom, but hadn't realised the rumba was almost as doom-laden!

Mind you there are Sambas when couples haven't been voted out - we've had some already this season.
