It doesn't say whether the poor dog survived. I hope so but I'm sure it's injuries are probably life changing so maybe it's best if it didn't?!

The dog has, unfortunately died.

The man has apparently been arrested but I can't find a link to confirm this yet.

I say throw him in a maximum security prison and let the proper nutters have an hour with him - no guards, no cameras. Give him a taste of his own medicine.

If he tries to claim he didn't know the dog was being dragged (bollocks) and he is believed, then it may be a lesser sentence.

Hopefully he'll be sent to prison for a good long time. Not just a lousy fine or bloody stupid community service. He needs to SUFFER for what he has done.

No question about it, you have to be a pretty depraved person to actually take the time to tie the poor dog to the car then get in and turn the ignition and speed off.
Let's hope he get's a severe sentence and is in a cell with animal lovers.
The car is a pretty expensive one so let's hope his finacial standing does not allow him a good brief who will probably say he forgot about the dog.

from th vague article i read sounded like a revenge (not sure that the right word maybe hate instead) crime to do with the partner or ex partner but did not say much. Unfortunately there are a lot of depraved people in society that think nothing of doing something like this to animals, children or people in general, i highly doubt he will see prison if he does it would be a few weeks at most

Given the distinctive nature of the car, there's a high probability that the culprit would have been caught anyway. I hope that he's banned from keeping animals for life and that he gets a custodial sentence and a criminal record for this wanton act of cruelty.

I'm personally hoping the cruel bastard gets tied by the goolies and dragged behind a Porsche.

there's a picture going round on facebook at the minute of a dog in america who survived being dragged behind a car, he had just... horrific injuries.
i only hope that for this dog that it passed away early on into it's ordeal for it's own sake


(and obv. the driver should be punished brutally for what he's done)

I can 100% guarantee that he will not spend a single day in jail. The justice system in this country is a the laughing stock of the world.

Latest reports say he is a dog lover and had no idea the dog was trapped behind the car, he is said to be devastated as this was an accident.

Maybe, just maybe the lynching is a little premature.

This story makes my skin crawl.
