Weather widget on Galaxy Note

I have setup the lock screen & home screen to show the weather widget. However, only the lock screen updates with my location-any ideas why the home screen doesn't

what interval have you set it to update?

What you think of the note then?

Have set it to update every hour - which it does on the lock screen but not the home. As far as the phone is concerned - no regrets at all. Seems really large when you first receive it but you quickly get used to it and all other phones seems really tiny.
