CH4HD lost recordings, limited EPG

Recently lost two CH4HD recordings on Humax HDR due to "technical problems"? Both were zero bytes long and the Humax offered to delete! They were both series recordings set before CH4 HD moved to the new satellite. Perhaps this is the reason? I have deleted all the series record I had previously set.

I had been using the workaround (programmed into my universal remote) of red button and schedule and because I am lazy I had not reverted to using the Guide button to show the EPG after the software update.

I used the Guide button just tonight and noticed that CH4 HD EPG did not go beyond Friday. I was trying to re-enter the series recordings I had deleted (see first para). All other channels had EPG entries to next Tuesday.

Has anyone else lost the CH4 HD EPG beyond Friday? Or is it CH4?

Is your HDR in standby at 03:00?

When I looked yesterday, there was no EPG for CH4HD from Saturday onwards. Lots of HDR users reporting this in the Astra 1N thread.

My box is in standby at 3AM.

Cheers,
David.

Same here, yesterday epg stopped at 06:00 Saturday morning.

Just checked - still the same last entry is Countdown 05:25-06:10

Same here, no data past Saturday, a refresh of the epg does nothing.

Yep tried that already .

Problem has been reported to CH4. Interesting to know if Sky users have the same problem.

Yup, mine is in standby at 3am.

EPG is still missing for Saturday. Hope CH4 sort it soon!

I would not have noticed if I had not discovered the failed recordings yesterday and tried to reset the series recordings on CH4HD.

I've just posted about this in the Freesat thread as I thought it more specific. Is this problem only affecting Humax boxes, then?

I thought my original post might have been Humax specific because of the loss of recordings on my Humax. That is why I specifically posted here. However, the discovered EPG issue, with hindsight (wonderful isn't it?) now appears to be universal.
