It's strange yeah, but maybe it's because she's known for all her different impressions.

This is her usually http://userserve-ak.last.fm/serve/252/50922287.jpg

It does seem odd to me though that SCD and Downton are up against each other. SCD is a family show and The rating on the Downton DVD is a 12. I'd be surprised if Downton was on so early or SCD so late compared with their usual timings.”

... it's been a long time, but I believe SCD is usually on about 9pm on a Christmas Day ... don't forget they usually also try & squeeze in Doctor Who and two episodes of EastEnders ... not all that much time left in a single evening's schedule ... hopefully I'm wrong and it'll be 8pm though!

... and don't get me started on Elf ... I sulked in the corner & tweeted about my loopy family instead of watching ... (actually, all things considered, its really not that dire a film, but nobody in our family is under 30, so I really have no idea why that was chosen over all the other things we could have been doing ... if we ever manage a game of cards/scrabble/cranium over Christmas I may explode with joy ... and wonder when the doctor will arrive to discover which alien overlord has replaced my family with something even more sinister!)

Strictly is usually on at 7pm at Christmas - Dr Who is on at 6pm, EE is on for an hour at 8pm and a comedy show is usally on at 9pm. (well, according to last year's TV listings anyway)

... glad someone has a more reliable tv guide than my memory! ... if it's 7pm I see no reason why downton would be on!

It was certainly on at 7pm last year as I recorded it on my V+ box and is still there.

Doh! ... you just reminded me I also have 2009 & 2008 recorded to my computer, and 2009 started at 7pm, while 2008 started at 6pm ... where I got 9pm from is anybody's guess! ... and I don't even drink that much at Christmas to account for that kind of confusion!

Oh well, Ian is nearly as good as Brendan in ballroom, so she should do well whatever dance they do.

Hi Dilly. I've opened a spoiler thread asking much the same question as we should keep this thread spoiler free as it doesn't say spoiler in the title.

I hope we get a spoiler and some info re dances etc.

I like Brendan but when it comes to ballroom I'd say Ian's better. Either way, they're both good
