This new four-part series commencing this week on Channel 5 is definitely not for nervous fliers. ‘World’s Scariest Plane Landings’ focuses on the moments every air passenger hopes will never happen. From skilled to not-so-skilled pilots, adverse weather conditions and mechanical failure, this selection of sometimes petrifying moments, shot on home video, give as-it-happened views from the ground or inside the planes. Along with expert analysis, and testimony from people on the scene, the series gets to the heart of these mesmerising stories.
Benidorm ER (New Series)
Commencing this week on Channel 5 is a fly-on-the-wall series following events at a destination that plays host to thousands of British holidaymakers every year: Clinica Benidorm, the local hospital. Granted exclusive access, the cameras follow the busy, dedicated medical teams as they check up, patch up and stitch up every conceivable problem under the sun.
When Paddy Met Sally (Part 1 of 2)
Sally Bercow and Paddy Doherty could not be more different. She is the outspoken public schoolgirl married to the Speaker of the House of Commons. Body of Proof (Season 1)
Dana Delany (‘Desperate Housewives’) stars in a hit American drama series beginning this week on Channel 5. She plays medical examiner Megan Hunt, who investigates unusual or suspicious deaths, while trying to reconnect with her daughter Lacey who lives with her ex-husband Todd (played by her ‘Desperate Housewives’ co-star, Jeffrey Nordling). In this pilot episode Megan and her partner investigate the death of a jogger whom several people had good reason to murder, and whose body shows evidence of several possible means of death.
