The Mentalist increased its audience for a second consecutive week to 1.46m (5.7%) beating the British comedies on BBC Two. Good stuff.

The Final is next Saturday, 3rd December. And how can 8.3m be a bad figure? What were you expecting? 10m no doubt.

I thought that was a good rating for a Thursday night. I can't think of anything recently that has done as well as that on a Thursday.

As for To The Manor Yawn, no thank you. Put that filler at 8pm on BBC2.

so whilst EE had an awesome and much deserved rating on BBC 3, the BBC 1 airing was way down on the kind of rating it should have got, I am very disappointed it didnt get the rating it deserved, and am off to stick pins into my ITV 1 doll.

true it may have won, but it deserved a much higher audience, and when you compare yesterdays rating to Wednesday rating, this is a huge disappointment.

Poor Eastenders rating, considering the amount of advertising the show seems to have had recently.

Emmerdale seems to be holding up very well lately.

Hmm ITV had a nerve the other day when they moaned about Strictly clashing with XFactor final 15 minutes while letting Emmerdale clash with Eastenders last night for its entire length, hypocritical come to mind.

I dont think this was mentioned when Channel 5 Christmas stuff was announced.

Quote:
“Meanwhile, The Witches of Oz (2x90') follows a children's writer named Dorothy who comes to realise the magical world of Oz that features in her books is real. She must then prevent the Wicked Witch of the West from carrying out her plans for world domination. The miniseries comes from Palace Imaginarium in the US and is distributed by MarVista Entertainment.”

Such a shame EastEnders didn't get a higher rating in the BBC One showing because it deserved to, it was a fantastic episode last night.

“BBC3 has shifted reality series Hot Like Us out of its peak time slot after the show lost more than 75% of its audience.

The BBC Entertainment North production launched on Wednesday 2 November with an average audience of 430,000 over the 9pm hour. But it failed to hold the audience, with ratings plummeting to 205,000 on its next outing and 100,000 on its third, according to overnight Barb figures supplied by Attentional.

This week, the show was transferred from 9pm to 7pm, seeing ratings tumble even further to 84,000 or 0.38% of the viewing audience.”

Wow, even for BBC3 that is bad, not suprised it has lost viewers though, I only stumbled across the first episode and it was pretty meh! EE deserved much more as well and whilst 8.3m is good for IACGEMOOH! Thought that it would do slightly better

The Witches of Oz was on SyFy not long ago. What could have been a great story falls very short due to bad production/script/acting. It's just generally poor. Seems a strange purchase.

'Life's to short' coming bottom out the terrestrial channels in it's time slot. Even channel 5 beat it.

And deservedly so. It is however disappointing that it seems to be dragging Rev down with it.

Living with the Amish did alrite for C4, 2.2m with +1 isnt bad at all, but can't help but think it could have got 3m if it hadn't started against Im A Celeb.

Even if it's as bad as you say I'm sure there will be an audience for it over the holidays, so not really that strange.

It'll probably go in an afternoon/early evening slot rather than primetime like when it was on SyFy.
