I noticed TV Burp has been pulled, guess that was only ever a Best Of.

I see in all the confusion ITV 2 has forgotten to pull Tweets of the Year, I may send them an e:mail to remind them.
I think they'd prefer a tweet.

I may use this as the first chance to watch Channel 5 +1, to allow me to do what I always do, and record Gadget Show at 8pm, watch EastEnders, then watch The Gadget Show.
Or you could just record it at 7pm?

But yeah, I'd imagine that's why they are scheduling in a slightly different way to normal that night. They know they have a bit more flexibility thanks to the +1 channel.

Ive sent it to the Press Office, I wonder if they will retweet it

Or you could just record it at 7pm? .
I could, but why break with tradition?

Love on the Transplant List: 323k (1.2%). It won the 9pm slot on multichannel

Signed by Katie Price meanwhile bowed out to just 88k (0.3%) on Sky Living at the same time. Ross Kemp took a much more respectable 303k (1.2%) for Sky1.

Source: Broadcast.
Ha, ha, how the mighty have fallen. From 2 million who watched Katie and Peter to 88.000, less than the population of Carlisle, who watched Jordan's latest flop. It's time she retired gracefully.
Not bad for the Scousewives, though, half a million shows these TOWIE type shows are the new reality.

I think EastEnders will get huge ratings of 13m this year on Xmas Day. Because there will be the culmination of one major storyline, one major character death and another major ongoing stalker storyline.

I've 'HEARD' 3 trailers of EastEnders will also be running
You also heard that EastEnders would be 2 x 40 on Christmas Day and we know what happened there.

The "Scheduling Dartboard Winner" goes to ITV1 for Boxing Day. What were they thinking of?

As for Christmas Day, I'm still certain that BBC will win in primetime, however I am reminded of the results when Doctor Who and Family Fortunes have clashed in the past:

3 …. 9.1 (33.9%) …. Doctor Who (19:00) BBC1
4 …. 6.1 (22.4%) …. All Star Family Fortunes (19:15) ITV
...is probably the closest example (from November 2009).

The last time it was at 9pm for an hour with the big departure of Kat and Alfie, it barely scrapped 10m and anyway that character doesn't die until NY's Day according to Dan 2008. Against Downton, I think it'll be around the 9m mark imho.

Don't be silly - it'll be nowhere near that given the competition, it'll be about 7 - 10m I'd imagine

As for Christmas Day, I'm still certain that BBC will win in primetime, however I am reminded of the results when Doctor Who and Family Fortunes have clashed in the past:
The clash will be a true test of how well Stephen Moffat's vision for the Doctor resonates with the general public...

Coincidentally 88,000 is also the prison population of England and Wales.

Few tweets from Alison Graham, TV Editor of Radio Times:

Great Expectations (BBC1) is... well, it's great. #christmastelly
What a lovely Christmassy Downton Abbey. #christmastelly
All three episodes of Great Expectations (BBC1) are super-fantastic. #christmastelly
No other opinions, though i've asked her about Royal Bodyguard, Lapland and Ab Fab.

Phew!

That really is a superb schedule, midday to midnight. Best BBC1 Boxing Day schedule for 15 years probably.

I wonder if this means MBB is being lined up for 10pm Saturdays before MOTD? That's where I want to see it.

Well being given a good slot like that, i think there's no chance of it returning to post-news weekday, if there was any doubt about that.

Have to agree, it's a very strong and varied schedule, probably the best on any channel over the entire christmas period. I'd have liked to have seen something like this on christmas day, i know it'd have been far riskier but at the same time it'd shake things up, and allow Strictly and Dr Who to other surrounding nights. Doctor Who on christmas eve would work fantastically i feel. It's a shame Lapland has been bumped to a late slot, even if it is a stinker then it doesn't really matter, it's just a one off and would have worked brilliantly earlier on in the evening, and then allowing one of the "The One . . ." to air after Outnumbered.
