That really is a superb schedule, midday to midnight. Best BBC1 Boxing Day schedule for 15 years probably.

I wonder if this means MBB is being lined up for 10pm Saturdays before MOTD? That's where I want to see it.

Well being given a good slot like that, i think there's no chance of it returning to post-news weekday, if there was any doubt about that.

Have to agree, it's a very strong and varied schedule, probably the best on any channel over the entire christmas period. I'd have liked to have seen something like this on christmas day, i know it'd have been far riskier but at the same time it'd shake things up, and allow Strictly and Dr Who to other surrounding nights. Doctor Who on christmas eve would work fantastically i feel. It's a shame Lapland has been bumped to a late slot, even if it is a stinker then it doesn't really matter, it's just a one off and would have worked brilliantly earlier on in the evening, and then allowing one of the "The One . . ." to air after Outnumbered.
