Very possibly, but the two Cowell shows really have raked in the cash for ITV plc and two years ago attracted the sort of ratings ITV last saw on a weekend when Maggie was still in power. However, the hype and less than stellar judges and performers have dented TXF a bit this year, but not too much.

I find I don't always get notifications when people post so miss a few. Overnights are delayed by the way.

Not the slot they will have wanted, but I think a lunchtime kick off was expected. I imagine they would have liked 4pm to give DOI a good lead in, assuming it returns that day.

The match should still peak at c8m even mid afternoon. Perhaps they should air ep1 of DOI at 3.30pm to benefit from that...

Looks fantastic. Seems that the Carrott and Henry "Ones" will definitely air over the New Year weekend, hope the Carrott one gets a good slot as thats the single thing I had most been looking forward to this year.

because Ice Dancing and football have such a big overlap.

Sunday lunchtime is better than Saturday at least. The 4th round draw will follow the game also.

Manchester City v Manchester United (1.00pm) – Live on ITV1
Peterborough United v Sunderland (3.30pm) – Live on ITV1
The draw for the Fourth Round Proper will follow this tie at approx 5.30pm on ITV1”

How did the ratings go for the game last Sunday.

ITV went for the potential 'cup shock' game at Totton when it became clear that there would not be a shock, did viewers numbers decline?

#BARB data delay this morning - is this a problem caused by addition of C5+1 to the system?”

Hopefully +1 will help them pick up more viewers, will help in battle with C4.

And drops out of sight in week 3.

Could you tell me where the BBC HD figures come from? I can't find them on the BARB site?

I notice you quote percentages rather than actual numbers; the 36% drop was about 1.4 million, while the 3.4% rise amounts to about 3,500.

Also, as of yesterday all Five's channels are now available on Freesat. That may help Five* and Five US's ratings a tad.
