What I want to know is, I thought it was illegal to keep a dog which is a danger to people and they must be out down. Not in this case by the look of it. How can this be?

From the report in the Daily Telegraph:

Quote:
“The court was told that one of Avery's Anatolian shepherds had since died, one had been sold and the other remained in her ownership.

But Judge Lambert ruled that the remaining dog should not be destroyed because it could not be proved that it caused the injuries to Mrs Hancock.

He said: ''It seems to me these dogs are not appropriate to be kept in England.''”
