I think the cat owns the snake. It look like it's got the snake around the neck in the last few seconds. I might download it tomorrow and go through it frame by frame just to check.

by the looks of it i'd say the cat got the snake by, or very close to the head after a failed strike from the snake

Im sure the snake bit the cats mouth, and cat just running from pain, its hard to tell with it happening very fast.

To me, it looks like the cat was in control, it effectively batted away every lunge from the snake, and it trotted away maybe, with the snake in its mouth, I think the cat would have shown more pain or tried to battle it, if the snake got it - would have scarpered, or tried to- much quicker.
