i dont think ashanti will ever have the kind of success that she had back in the early 2000's because ja rule made her career happen. and when her record label and ja rule went downhill that meant ashanti went downhill. she kind of stopped being on top after her 2nd album

You know on the radio I hear ashanti's songs like foolish, happy, always on time with ja rule and what's luv with fat Joe being played again and I bet you anything people are like what a cool song and people will be like who sings that song? And the disc jockey or sign on their car will say Ashanti and they'll be like ashanti who? Or who's ashanti?

I can't wait for her new album.

Also Only U is probably in my Top 5 best songs of the 21st century.
