So the album is OUT NOW in Australia (I have my copy) and will be out in Ireland and the UK over the next few days.

What do you guys think? What are you expecting? Where do you think it will chart?

Lets have all discussions here!

I think it will chart pretty high. He doesn't really have that much competition against him this week in terms of new releases (with the exception, maybe, of Take That's live album). I don't know if he'll sell enough to push Rihanna off the top spot though.

His single is doing well at the moment. (currently #1 in the midweeks) so that's a good sign for the album, and he has an X Factor performance coming up this Sunday so I reckon it will sell well. Maybe one of those albums that doesn't hit the top spot but is around in the charts for a long time, like his first album.

I hope it does do well though. Nothing like a bit of feel good music!!

I loved his last album so much. One of my favourite albums i've ever purchased. Really looking forward to this (although I ain't as keen on Hearts Skips A Beat and Dance With Me Tonight as I was with Please Don't Let Me Go and Thinking Of Me).

Thinking of Me has grown on me but when I first heard it I hated it as a second single. Was really hoping that 'I Blame Hollywood' or 'Change is Gonna Come' would be released. I much prefer 'Dance With Me Tonight' and hope it gets to #1 like Heart Skips A Beat. I have a feeling I'm going to like this album more than his first, and I REALLY liked his first!

This is going to be Amazon's MP3 album of the week next week which means it'll only be £3.99. I'm going to get it then!!
I've been listening to the previews on the Irish itunes site and I'm loving 'Oh My Goodness,' 'In Case You Didn't Know' and 'Anywhere Else.' With its two lead singles this sounds like a very solid album!

Reviews so far:

It's the erosion of true character – especially vocal character – in favour of spurious "personality" that may be talent-show telly's most damaging effect on pop. Olly Murs might have a lovely onscreen personality, but only the merest glimmers of character are allowed to shine through the swaddling retro-pop arrangements of In Case You Didn't Know, as when his tremulous pipings are buoyed on the organ and horns of "Oh My Goodness". For the most part, it's cruise-liner-show bland, even the fulsome claims of heartbreak and misery being delivered with implausibly high spirits, over anonymous settings bereft of mus-ical signature. The worst offenders are the title-track and "Tell the World", a brace of "reggae" tracks at the heart of the album, so soul-sappingly vanilla they make The Police seem like Burning Spear. Music this offensive should come with a warning sticker, surely?

The press release affixed to the second album from 2009 X Factor runner-up Olly Murs begins: "I'm never going to think, 'Right, I've made it now.' Even the greats like Paul McCartney never think they can't do better." You've got to love his cockiness, especially when there's so little basis for it: In Case You Didn't Know is an unapologetically lightweight product by a chappie born to be labelled "cheeky", and that's about the size of it. Yet it has more going for it than the usual gagsome treacle associated with X Factor contestants. Refusing to be mired in a swampland of balladry, Murs darts lightly from cute reggae (Heart Skips a Beat) to sax-blaring 50s pop (Dance with Me Tonight) to Bacharach/Davidish lushness (Just Smile), and sounds as if he's enjoying himself enormously. Endowed with a decent white-soul voice that recalls Will Young, he and his tunes are never less than easy on the ear.

3*

GOOD old Olly Murs.

You won’t find anyone with a single word to say against him. Cuter than your average button, a lovely voice that got him to The X Factor final, great fun on TV presenting The Xtra Factor and the singles don’t half do well.

Here he is with his second album already trailing hit singles and it’sSLps more of the same: white boy reggae‑lite along the lines of UB40 that is wholly unobjectionable and totally catchy without ever getting corny. Includes the singles Heart Skips A Beat and In Case You Didn’t Know that should have you wiggling along.

Verdict: 3/5

I was quite surprised by the first one, it was quite good so I'll probably give this a listen too.
