Cat getting too intimate with me.

One of my new cats is beginning to make me feel unconfortable by getting too intimate with me.

She has started suckling where a womans breast would be on me (through my clothes).

I believe that cats do this when they have been taken from their mother too soon and have had one like this before, he used to suckle my finger and it was nowhere near as bad. .

I have tried to get her to get her comfort on a bit of cloth, but she just moves her head moves away from it and tries to return to me.

Does anybody know how to deal with this?

That's terrible. She should take you out first, buy you a meal.

I saw this on a pet TV program recently. The cat suckled its owners boyfriend's nipples - very odd to watch

I think he ended up putting something on his nipples to make them taste bad and the cat stopped trying eventually.

Yes, I think the key thing is not to feel uncomfortable, she is not being 'too intimate' with you, she is seeing you as her new 'mother'. I had a brother and sister kittens, he would snuggle up and she, might sound a bit 'eeeww' would suck my armpits through my T shirt while massaging. so it isn't always that they are removed from the mother to early, it is comfort.
She no longer sucks, but still does the 'kneading' which I like.

Cats are cats, like us, they are not all the same. If you really don't like it, for a while put lemon juice on the clothing area where she sucks. Otherwise, let her do it, she will stop after a while. She is looking for comfort.

I also suspect she doesn't fancy you

Mine likes to suckle my pillow whilst I'm trying to sleep, he does it for ten minutes or so then curls up to sleep himself. I find it quite cute, because he's seeing me as his mummy figure
