By the way, no doubt you've all heard about the Bradford councillor Robert Payne who beat his four cats to death? His email address at Bradford Council is freely available on the internet:

robert.payne@bradford.gov.uk

I expect Bradford Council will have to close his email address down at some point, as I'm sure it'll be inundated with emails from decent Human Beings! ”

As much as I want to e-mail this sick mother f**ker and tell him exactly what I think of him, no doubt I would be the one in trouble for sending harassing and threatening e-mails.

What is wrong with this world? It makes me so angry I could scream.

I totally understand why you (and others) don't want to email this evil man and I have absolutely no criticism for anyone who takes the same decision. When I posted the address it did actually cross my mind that I might get a knock on the door from the Police, arresting me for inciting violence! And when I tried to post the email address on the comments section on the Sun's article, they censored me and wouldn't post it. Imagine being censored by the Sun! I'll never live down the shame!

Seriously though, I think this shows how scared decent people are now of speaking their minds or doing anything that might upset another person (even if that person is an evil psychopath), incase they are prosecuted for being abusive, inciting violence etc. But that's a totally separate issue and sorry OP for hijacking your thread.

I'll get off my soap box now!

No worries CatJ.

If we get as many signatures as we can, we may change the way the law deals with scumbags like him.

Scumbags being a polite word for what I think of him.

Whoop whoop!

It's gone up by about 30 names since I bumped it.

Thanks everyone - if we don't stand up for the gorgeous little animals, who will?

Thanks to those who have put it on Twitter & Facebook - you're all amazing!

i am going to get some people in school to sign it, they are all cat lovers. I was going to send a nasty e-mail to the cat battering MP but then realised I might get in trouble with the law. The law is am ass but I will still wish nothing but horrible things happen to him. I wish there was an island that only animal lovers and their pets could live in peace and let the scum and torturers live somewhere awful(Sahara Desert) minus food or drink

Have a look at this thread, I wont bother repeating what it contains but shows just how cruel people can be to animals and with their young present watching the scene and presumably learning from it.
