Baby Pets?

I wanted to bring some positively to this forum. I apologise if there’s already a thread like this, I couldn’t see one. So thought I'd start a baby pet thread, somewhere to comment on your new pets or if your pet’s just had babies. My cat has just had kittens, they're just over three weeks old and are very cute. She had three of them and is a fantastic mum, we couldn't have hoped for better. Sometimes it’s a shame on her though because she gets very bored with them so always runs out the room to get away, but then she worries about them and runs back in the room to see them again.

The kittens now have their eyes and ears open and are wandering about the room investigating everything. Sometimes they roll on their backs and like getting tickled or kissed on their little bellies. But sometimes if we wake them up when we enter the room they spit and hiss in surprise. It's very cute to see something so small try to scare anyone. But then they realise it's just us and they wobble over for a cuddle.

Does anybody else have baby pets at the moment? Puppies, Kittens, Rabbits? Or anybody just bought a kitten or puppy? There's nothing sweeter than this new life, it gets everyone happy for a change instead of the dreadful things you sometimes hear of on here.

I twice ended up with 3 week old kittens to look after. You are soooo lucky. They are just the most amazing creatures. Enjoy xx

I have a 16 week old Lhasa Apso puppy. My rabbit Cassidy had babies several years ago and it was so beautiful seeing her build the nest, then look after them when they were tiny. You never forget it
