Some people think so but others seem to think whoever name is on top of the credits has the actual duff duff. I remember people disagreeing about this when Zainab and Masood divorced last year.

well sometimes a name on the top of the credits doesnt mean they are onscreen last. an episode a few weeks back it was supposed to be shirley but she walked off camera just intime for phil to get it.

Well I don't think EE have made it clear if a duff duff is the character on top of the credits or if it's whom may be last on screen. Therefore I don't think anybody will agree with a list as everybody has different rules they consider to be a duff duff.

i think generally most people agree the duff duff is the last character onscreen. ive never seen anyone say its the name at the top of the list

its because the person with the duff duff is normally the first person on the credits for the ep

well not really because we don't actually know what EE class as a duff duff... because Nevermindme claims that the list is wrong so

Actually, we do know what the BBC class as a duff duff because they spent 5 minutes explaining it in the show in 2010.

They used the scene where Dennis told Sharon that Den was still alive.

Sharon built up the tension, Dennis delivers the line and Sharon stole the duff duff with a classic duff duff face. They said it's the person last on camera in time for the duff duff.

Problem solved.

I'm pretty sure the credits are in order of who appears last on the script, which isn't always the last person on screen.

I think from reading the count Nevermindme gives a duff to everyone that appears in the final shot (the actual duff) sometimes it's just one character, sometimes it's more than one and sometimes it not anyone, but a thing like the Vic sign after the fire.
