Any other Rammstein fans here besides me? They've been due a greatest hits compilation for a few years now in my opinion, and finally there will be one, scehduled for a December 6 release.

The CD is to be available in three formats, Standard Edition, Special Edition (2CD- w/ remix CD) and Super Deluxe Edition (2CD & 3DVD- w/ every promo videos and making-of featurettes)

I've pre-ordered the Super Deluxe Edition, and hoping I get it at the around £45 mark that Amazon were originally advertising it at (they've since taken the opportunity to pre-order down from the site, and other sites such as Play and HMV are listing it at upwards of £89.99).

As for the track listing, there's a few surprising omissions such as Seemann, Stripped, Das Modell and Feuer Frei!, and the inclusion of non-single Mein Herz Brennt seems strange, too. But there's plenty of good stuff on the Standard Edition, and having heard (I think) all the remixes listed above, the Special and Deluxe Editions are good value too.

Thought the Charlie Closer version of Stripped should at at least been on that.

Haven't heard that for a while, I'll probably start dusting off all my CD singles after listening to the album.

I should point out that there is still no promo video for Das Modell featured on the DVDs in the Super Deluxe Edition. As far as I know, one was made at the time of release but was shelved because it was comparable to the death of Princess Di around the same time.

So 14 years on, either the band still don't think it appropriate to release the video, or they don't believe it good enough to now be seen after all these years, or (and this seems the likliest to me) the video has now been wiped and is no longer in existence.

Well Amazon despatched my Super Deluxe Edition of Made In Germany today, and I got it at the low price of £46.69. I'm on the lucky ones aswell, as on the page for this edition on Amazon's site (where it still isn't available to order again yet), some were complaining that Amazon just outright cancelled their orders.

So in other words, I have a bargain! Should arrive early in the week, I can't wait.

I've just gone for the Standard version as i have absolutely no interest in any "Remix" versions of their songs.

I wanted to go to the Nottingham Arena gig but not been able to warrant a ticket for that and the Super Deluxe Edition of MIG (which arrived today!).

I've only had chance to listen to CD1 (the regular "greatest hits") so far, hopefully do the remixes and the promo vids and making-ofs tomorrow. Funnily enough I was going through all my Rammstein CD singles last night to put some B-sides on iTunes. There's some pretty nifty remixes out there, Glawster. The Faith No More mix of 'Du Riechst So Gut' is NOT one of them, that's rotten, and unfortunately has been included on MIG CD2, when I'd have plumped for one of the Gunter Schultz mixes.

As a footnote, the band's new single Mein Land made No.5 in the German Singles Chart. Rammstein have had nine Top 10 singles in their homeland, but so far just one No.1, Pussy in 2009.

Made In Germany entered the UK Album Chart at 94 on Sunday. It sounds more impressive that they were a new entry at 4 in the Rock Album Chart. I'm trying to find out where MIG landed in the German charts, it's bound to be Top 10.

It seems Mein Land didn't even make the Top 100 Singles over here, which I suppose is no surprise. But Rammstein remain a massive live band over here, how many other artists have such consistently low or non-charting singles and albums yet still manage to sell out arenas?

I think Rock band "Greatest Hits" packages always struggle to sell in the UK, I only brought it for Mein Land to be honest.

But yes, I agree there can't be many other, if any, bands who sing in their native tongue who have had so much success in the UK as Rammstein have, especially when it comes to selling tickets for their tours.

Made In Germany 1995-2011 went straight in at Number One on the German Album Chart. Congratulations guys!

Rumours have surfaced that a second single will be released from Made In Germany, that being the only track on the album which never got a single release, 'Mein Herz Brennt'. Though the band are yet to confirm this, the reports have stemmed from this promotional image for MIG, which features a lyric from 'Mein Herz Brennt'.

'MHB' was of course, the opening track on the 2001 Mutter album, and to me was an odd choice to be included on the MIG compilation, especially as better known tracks and actual singles didn't make the final selection. But if the intention was to release 'MHB' after 'Mein Land', suddenly it's inclusion makes sense. Plus with 'Mein Land' being the only new track on the album, it would seem not unreasonable for Rammstein to release something else this year to sustain promotion for Made In Germany and the massive tour.

I guess everyone is always going to have different opinions on what should, or shouldn't, have been included, though.

I did think Mein Herz Brennt was an odd inclusion especially when the likes of Rammstein, Sonne, and Benzin were left on the Standard CD.

Yes, I'm not overly surprised 'Rammstein' was left off, as it was never an official single either, but a promo video was made with clips from Lost Highway. I think overall the selection of tracks is pretty decent, and the only way they'd have satisfied everybody would have been to include every single they've ever released.

As a "story so far" it is a good selection I think, those examples i thought they would have included would have been in addition to what is on the CD and they are constrained by the physical size of a CD!

Although where is Mann gegen Mann? That's my fave Rammstein song at the moment, along with the errr video.

The only single included from the Rosenrot album is 'Rosenrot' itself, which surprised me a little as I thought they'd go with 'Benzin'. I'm not overly keen on any of the singles from that album, but there's a couple of brilliant tracks on the CD, 'Wo Bist Du' and 'Stirb Nicht Von Mir' featuring Sharleen Spiteri.

I was disappointed Stripped wasn't on the album though - I love their version.

I saw them in Manchester on Thursday and they were brilliant!

I friend of mine won tix to the meet and greet in Nottingham.

I saw them in Birmingham and they were brilliant. It is a surreal moment standing in a sold out British venue watching a German band and everyone singing the chorus in German!!

I know what you mean - it was quite a sight! Wish I could go again!
