Who's Your Favourites from each group?
Mine:
Groups - G4 and 2 to Go Under 25 - Andy and Tabby Over 25 - Lloyd and Rowetta After seeing Rowetta's last audition, I have changed my mind about her, she was good, put me in mind of Cleo Laine. Out of all of them, I would say I would like G4 to win the whole thing, or 2 to Go

GROUPS: G4/ 2 to Go
Over 25s: Steve rocks my world, also Verity just has something special Under 25s: Andy To be honest the one I like least of the whole lot is Otis, I just don't get him at all. To me his voice is really unspectacular and I think the other man, the much darker skinned, was way way better. |

Steve lacked star quality for me.
Two shone in the over 25s for me Rowetta & Llloyd. Tabby & Roberta in the Under 25s, and 4tune in the groups. |

Louis' Group - I absolutely HATE G4. I just cannot see that kind of group on record...just imagine them in disco week? What trumped up, frilly edged version of Donna Summer (or whatever else) will they produce? They may be entertaining on stage, but off? I don't know. I cannot see the CD buying youth (not that all CD buyers are youths!) going for that. But you never know...Charlotte Church has sold well (not slagging CC). Maybe there is room for them. I can't stand them myself. I think they have 'Novelty Factor'...not X Factor. Novelty wears off.
The only group I like is Voices with Soul. Sharon's Group - no stand out winners there. Given them time though. I think she was mad to let that Sheni girl go. I liked her. I can't stand that Pete Townsend look-a-like, Tabby. What is it with him?Simon's Group - The best chance of a winner in there. Verity is a 'Poor Soul' but I cannot see the pull with her right now. I wouldn't have chosen her. Rowetta - her nuttiness annoys the life out of me. I don't like her voice at all. Lloyd is the best of that group. In all...more of an Opportunity Knocks than an X Factor...best watch out it doesn't become a Z Factor....Zzzzzzzzzzz.

Totally disagree - the record buying public want something different - and have you not heard of the classical album charts - G4 are a breath of fresh air and will sell albums by the bucketload (when they are signed by a very astute Mr Cowell) - say what you like about him he knows talent when he sees it. What the general public are heartely sick and fed-up of are the run-of-the-mill boy bands and bland singers - G4 will outsell Russell Watson or I will eat my hat

This theory may well be tested when the acts perform in themed weeks...I assume they will follow that model of weekly performances.
It will be interesting if they fit in some themes that would suit G4 (who remind me of The King Singers in the 1970s...except they were better than G4, IMO)...yes, Bohemian Rhapsody (intersting that G4 did this song) can be done by classical vocal groups, but I still think that some themes would be laughable for them. We shall see. And, yes, I have heard of the Classical Album Charts...but it's not my taste, so I'm not out spending fortunes in that genre. For the record, I wouldn't be surprised if they win...they'd put out a 'nice' Xmas number 1

Groups-G4, Voices with Soul
Over 25- Odis (don´t remember his singing though lol) Under 25-I guess the blonde chick who "doesn´t use her good looks" lol. I thought Louis did the best picking his final five, or I guess I think he was the fairest. Simon went for personalities and appealing ones imo(though to be honest I would have dumped Rowetta, every so often I think I´m watching a drag act). Sharon, maybe its the editing , but she´s a nutjob and pretty inconsistent imo. I find her group the hardest to connect to, or I think I do if I could remember them all. I think she had four good singers and Tabby.

What a ridiculous post.
You'd choose Odis, but you don't remember his singing, and yet you criticise Simon for choosing personalities. Rowetta & Lloyd have amazing voices. And as for the drag act comment, you're obviously an expert, I've never seen a drag act like that. You even slate the wonderful Sharon Osbourne. You must have a really interesting life. Anything mildly exciting, you put down. Bitter people make bitter comments. If you don't have anything positive to say, why bother? |

I like G4 most of the groups and would certainly by their record. It will be between them and 2 To Go.
I like everyone in Sharon's group, but I think the lad who made them cry is in fact the weakest singer, they were just touched by his life story. I think tabby will definitely be in her top 3 as he has a rock style which appeals to sharon. I think that all 3 girls are good, but Megan is a bit young and has disastrous taste in leggings so I think her 3 should be tabby, roberta and cassie. As for Simon's i don't really think any of them have megastar potential although they all seem nice and have good voices. I think Louis or sharon will have the winner |
