My favourites are:

16-24: Megan (although i haven't heard much of her) and Cassie. I can't believe Sharon let Shenai go!

25+: Rowetta (she has grown on me so much!) and Steve.

Groups: Voices with soul and 2 To Go.

Voices with Soul are my favourite at the moment, but i do like most of the over 25s! That's a first for a reality music show!

Angie
The insult was what Marbri said about Rowetta.
Disgusting and totally uncalled for.

[quote=ZipGypsy]Louis' Group - I absolutely HATE G4. I just cannot see that kind of group on record...just imagine them in disco week? What trumped up, frilly edged version of Donna Summer (or whatever else) will they produce? They may be entertaining on stage, but off? I don't know. I cannot see the CD buying youth (not that all CD buyers are youths!) going for that. But you never know...Charlotte Church has sold well (not slagging CC). Maybe there is room for them. I can't stand them myself. I think they have 'Novelty Factor'...not X Factor. Novelty wears off.

The only group I like is Voices with Soul.

I do kind of agree with you G4 seem to be very good at what they do , but their range appears too limited , you can tell it's them on every song which is not necessarily a good thing , they put me in mind of John Stevens on American Idol , he struggled to make an impression because he was good at what he did but had too limited a range , also feel the lead singer isn't that special on what i've seen so far all i've heard him do is opera .I do like Rowetta , Steve, the blind guy and his friend and voices with soul

I know what Marbi means though. Isn't it just the whole 'extreme stage behaviour' and cabaret, interacting with the audience style of drag that Marbi means?

I don't think it was disgusting...and I agree with AngieP...Marbi wasn't insulting at all. What's wrong with being likened to a drag act? Rowetta admits herself that she's a drama queen (thinking of the episode where Simon called her that and she agreed).

Who is the girl who Sharon called a 'Little Charlotte church'?. I thought she was rather good. My fav in Sharons group.
My Fav in the groups is The Barber shop quartet(are they G4 or 'silk street' now?). Although I think Louis's group is the weakest though.

The one who imo, defintaly has the x factor AND a wonderful voice is Rowetta. She seems to have a lot of inner demons though, but this sort of emotion turmoil makes for some really good singing I think.

Well she's a great singer for a start, and she has that Robbie Williams / Elton John style X Factor.
You will either love or hate her.
I love her.

Do you really think Verity is a better singer and has more of the X Factor?

I know who people are talking about after each show.

Steve has a good voice, but doesn't have the X factor.

I heard he won Johnathan Ross' Big Big Talent Show a few years ago and didn't make it from that!

We all have our own opinions

You will either love or hate her.
I love her.

Hate is a very strong word, don't HATE her, Don't LIKE her would be a better turn of phrase

I know who people are talking about after each show.

Totally agree but for the right reasons? Some comments are ONLY about how mad she is, If thats the x factor in your eyes then you are entitled to your opinion.

16-24s - Not hugely impressed by any of them so anyone but the annoying Megan. Some may think Megan is very good but no one thinks Megan is as good as Megan herself thinks she is.

Over-25s - Steve without a doubt. Wonderful voice, a lovely personality and something different about him. The guy has the X-factor by the bucketload. No point in saying he won Jonathan Ross' Big Big Talent Show and didn't make it from that. That series was watched by Jonathan Ross' family and pets. Besides who really makes it from that type of show? Pop Idol, Pop Stars, Fame Academy, etc are the first talent shows in a generation to produce chart acts. Rowetta a close second (well third actually because I like Lloyd but I've heard he doesn't make it to the last 3). I can't see what the fuss is about Verity. Nice lady, sweet voice but she is a bit of a sob story and that is the main reason they've put her through so far. There were other far better singers in this category.

Groups - G4, full stop. I don't think the lead singer is as great as some people including Simon think he is but as a unit they are in a different league. Like Verity, the blind guy is a sob story, nothing special. Voices with Soul are another bunch of Megan-like over-rated screamers. Why on earth do people think this kind of warbling and screaching is singing?

The only group that has someone I actually like is the 16-24 one.

I think Tabby is great, I don't usually like singers like him so I'm surprised at myself. Also think that Cassie has an amazing voice for a 17 year old. Going to be backing these 2 I think.

As for the groups - I'm not keen on any of them. 2 to go is probably the best of a bad bunch.

Over 25's arent really appealing to me either, but given the choice I would have to go for Steve.

I am just wanting to put the record straight about young Andy Steed. His father has not died, but had a tragic accident which left him in a wheelchair and needing round the clock care.
The opinions expressed on this site are sometimes very unfair,as it was said Andy had the weakest voice, but then again you have not heared what i have, and in the future this young lad is going to be a BIG star.I dont think its sympathy votes Andy wants.I would not think that anybody on this show needs a winning ticket, when its not on their own merits.
I am maybe be bias because he is my nephew, and yes i would love to see him succeed in every thing he does. Good luck Andy see you soon

Groups - G4 and that other soul group with the Sister, Cousin and Auntie.
Under 25's - None of them!
Over 25's - Steve's my favourite, I also like Lloyd and Rowetta.

I think Steve or Rowetta will win though.

Well said Uncle Pete. Andy has something that many of the others dont have - charisma. I loved his voice and he is proving to be very popular on many of the sites I have visited. He is quite the heart-throb for many girls of all ages. I cried along with Terry and Sharon when he sang LAWR on the show last week. I also loved his voice before I even found out about his dads accident. I wish him well.

I dont think that andy does have that 'thing' personally, i think his voice is deffinatly different-quite clear and distinct-BUT its more 'broadway' than music industry. YES he can sing-but NO he Is NOT the best in the selection neither is he top 5 or even 10.

I liked his voice before I heard his story, the quality of it reminded me a little of Susanne from PI2. I am hoping he is in the final nine as I had him down as one of my favourites. Uncle Pete can you confirm he is not in the final nine?
