It would be Karen and Gary for me. They obviously didn't hit it off. He seemed totally obsessive and wanted to perfect just about everything before he literally tackled the next step. I may be wrong but did I see a smirk on Karen's face when Craig scored them a One

Jared and Tina O'Brien

I think Jared was a nice person but too youthful in looks and inexeprienced to be a pro on the show - there was no chemistry at all between them - Tina looked like she was dancing with a younger brother! The only dance of there's that worked really was their Charleston - I think the producers let Tina down - she had so much potential and would have been served better with a more experienced, older looking pro.

I totally agree here. I have always wondered if Leila could have gone further with a different partner.

I remember her saying that she didn't like Latin - I really think that it was actually Anton's dislike of Latin (and lack of ability thereof) that rubbed off on her.

Patsy & Anton - they didn't seem to have any chemistry at all. Say what you want about Anton's dancing, but in most cases he's had a pretty warm relationship with his partners. But he and Patsy just didn't gel.

James & Georgina didn't get on at all. She didn't get his work ethic. Remember Malteastergate?

Ian & Mica - again, little connection. I always got the feeling that Ian didn't like her size (and I don't mean height).

I'd say for me, the couple that sticks out the most in Ola and Andrew Castle. When there were so many shorter men than him that series (Don, Tom, Austin, Tom, Phil, Gary) I have no idea why they paired one of the shortest pro's with the second tallest man.”

You can't blame height difference for a couple just not making the grade; it's usually because the celeb can't dance however, hard the pro dancer tries, or because the couple don't get on - in Brendan and Lulu's case it was a combination of the two.

But in the competitive field there are loads of couples with similar height differences - Strictly's Matthew and Nicole Cutler were just one couple who enjoyed enormous success.

Aww Ian Waite is a gentleman and I really don't believe that. Don't shoot me down but Mica Paris is really annoying, I can't stand the woman. Maybe she's the same in real life as she is on the telly?

Strangest pairings would definitely include Lilia & Dom (the phrase 'getting on like two cats in a sack' springs to mind), Karen & Gary, Brendan & Lulu and (I realise I may get shouted down for this) Andrew Castle & Ola, but that may be based on my dislike for Andrew Castle.

I have to say that I started off expecting to find Widdy & Anton a strange pairing, and I know she probably stayed in the competition for too long. But it became clear that, although she was so determined to be sexless/unromantic and not interested in the passionate side of dance, she did have a minor crush on Anton in a very innocent way, which I found oddly moving. It was like seeing someone glimpse the idea of romance for the first time.

Kristina and John Sargeant was a strange pairing imo, he thought he was funny which maybe the reason he kept getting through instead of better dancers
