That was a bit confusing... I thought the posts were on topic??

Anyway...

Just went and donated to Faye's bungee jump and saw this message....

£10 for agreeing to participate. I'll donate another £90 if you actually do it. And I want evidence.
Donation by Anon on 11/12/11

Am I crazy for thinking it might be Aaron??! lol. I know it is just as likely to be a fan, but it immediately made me think of him.

Lol.

Yes his opinion had changed quite a bit... must be weird to build an opinion of someone from clips and then meet them and relaise immediately they are completely different... and rather than being fake they are genuine. I think it probably helped that Aaron was almost a bit starstruck... I think Brian likes bit of ego stroking tbh.

Not crazy at all and very clever as topicgate looms.

I started the series being pretty neutral about Aaron, then thought he was a player after he appeared to be stringing Maisy, Faye and Tom along but I gradually saw through the bad editing and noticed that there was a lot more to Aaron than the programme wanted us to believe. I realised he was clever, funny, sensitive and he simply couldn't believe that a girl as attractive as Faye could really be interested in him. Do I get extra credit for spotting this even though all I watched were the highlights programmes and the occasional Bit on the Side?

As the time went on, the bias against him during the main programme and especially on Bit on the Side really annoyed me and I was so glad the true BB fans voted him the winner.

Were there any particular turning points for anyone here or were you all perceptive enough to spot his potential from the beginning?

Yes. lol. think he does. I really appreciated the way he handed the case full of £50k to Aaron infront of the baying mob. He really showed the detractors who the real winner was.

Well I know who to keep an eye on next year Mind you I liked him early on, my favs usually do ok but f**K up along the way, or near the end. Aaron gave me a couple of frights were I was worried he might have lost it but he was the only HM I have ever felt had such a strong, and understanding, fan base that his *slip ups* and the bias didn't matter... still nail bitting at times though.

With nomgate, it totally baffled me how Aaron was blamed by all the housemates for putting Faye up for eviction when he did no such thing - it was Louise's decision.

With giftgate, I thought Aaron had totally blown his chances of winning. I honestly thought Jay made the decision out of the goodness of his heart (not so sure about Lou). I did think it was pretty underhanded of them not to tell Aaron what they were going to do and give him the chance to chip in. I also thought it was much easier for Jay and Lou to decide to buy presents because of the large sum of money they were guaranteed to receive compared with Aaron's £950 and a child to support but I did not expect other people watching to look at it this way.

Loo ran in and said Aaron fvked up and Jay joined in and so it began. She later came to the Br and admitted she did it on purpose.A guilty conscience I guess , but she did not admit this to anyone else.

On gift gate the Fb clips the dastardly duo coming out of the BR, dissing Alex and Jay even saying he would expect a Bj from Alex for spending the cash. They also commented on how selfish Alex was.H/L viewers never saw this.
The fact they went behind Aaron's back was telling. Why do that.

The br scene was especially telling, Jay felt sick, and all Lou could comment on *staring into camera* was doing something good comes bk to you, hair flick.. and how Alex better share her stuff from now on

Just goes to prove what everyone says - live feed is essential to get the whole picture. Surely that's the point of a show like BB. Also proves that, for some reason, Channel 5 didn't want Aaron to win.

Absolutely. However, I think the ardent BB fans read very aptly between the lines so to speak; after years of watching LF and HL shows they know the score.

Yes, problem is not everyone is so adapt at reading between the lines. I felt so sorry for Aaron having to face the baying mob, hostile TV presenters and Pete Burns when he came out of the house. Fair enough if he had set himself up to be a villain like Anton but he had no idea how he was being portrayed on the outside and was totally unprepared for the reception he got.

Considering Brian's previous comments about Aaron, and the reaction of the crowd, I saw this action as close to incitement myself.

Did Cornchips have his number ? I must admit I never did. Even voted for the blighter the night he was evicted.
Still, at the end of the day, good defeats evil every time, as someone once said.

Aaron imo never set out to be 'the villian' just real? I also think he was prepared for the 'MOB' but was at a loss as to how he could have won and recieve the reception he got/was getting. His responses/ behaviour on OKtv post BB was more in line with an 'aquainted' Aaron and how the bias had affected peoples' perceptions of him. He dealt with them appropriately imo leaving his dignity intact.

Thats was disgusting and could have been avoided. It was obviously set up by Endemol and c5, to work out this way.Emma even looked a bit uncomfortable by it all. Unnecessarily nasty Imo.
I was very annoyed with faye over nomgate, very annoyed. She colluded in his isolation. It was Aaron's relationship woes with her that caused some of the booing along with the disgraceful, editing of the money /gift thing
Brian handing him the money was a continuation of that. storyline .The poor guy was bewildered and sick with shock.

Of course they didn't want him to win as they knew he wouldn't be a willing puppet on all the spin-off shows like Brianiac was
