Considering Brian's previous comments about Aaron, and the reaction of the crowd, I saw this action as close to incitement myself.

I think it was all planned via halving the cash, edited Dr clips about money and Aaron and giving the case on winning. They knew Aaron had it in the bag.It sounded great on paper I bet, a different finale.
But it was a damp squid really. It fell flat and was uncomfortable rather than entertaining viewing. They forgot they were dealing with a real person and played to the haters.

Did Cornchips have his number ? I must admit I never did. Even voted for the blighter the night he was evicted.
Still, at the end of the day, good defeats evil every time, as someone once said.
CC kept saying she would not trust him as far as she would throw him and how right she was.

Aaron imo never set out to be 'the villian' just real? I also think he was prepared for the 'MOB' but was at a loss as to how he could have won and recieve the reception he got/was getting. His responses/ behaviour on OKtv post BB was more in line with an 'aquainted' Aaron and how the bias had affected peoples' perceptions of him. He dealt with them appropriately imo leaving his dignity intact.
That was the point I was making. If someone makes a big deal of saying they're a 'villain' or 'playing a game' or just being totally bitchy in the Diary Room and nice as pie to people's faces, they can expect boos. Otherwise it just comes down to individual opinions and programmes like Bit on the Side should be balanced, giving both sides of the argument not relentlessly slating one housemate on the flimsiest of evidence.

IMHO Aaron handled the exit interviews extremely well under the circumstances but he should never have been put in that position in the first place.

Thats was disgusting and could have been avoided. It was obviously set up by Endemol and c5, to work out this way.Emma even looked a bit uncomfortable by it all. Unnecessarily nasty Imo.
I was very annoyed with faye over nomgate, very annoyed. She colluded in his isolation. It was Aaron's relationship woes with her that caused some of the booing along with the disgraceful, editing of the money /gift thing
Brian handing him the money was a continuation of that. storyline .The poor guy was bewildered and sick with shock.
In regards to face to face nominations I don't think Faye was in the wrong at all. While naturally being upset at being up a week before the final. Faye initially thought Aaron had made a mistake during voting & seemed to be coming to terms with what had happened. What was devastating was Aaron telling her he would have saved Alex over her or even himself. It still confuses me to why he thought this to be acceptable? The only excuse I can come up with is Aaron being a thinker he was under severe pressure & had to think on his feet for a change. Doing so he dug himself a hole and while trying to dig himself out he instead dug a deeper one.

For me it was Aaron's place to make thing's right with Faye & he knew this only too well. Hence why he kissed the back of her head while she was sleeping earlier in the day. To then ignore her for the rest of the day, including the night chat in the garden with Jay, must have been very confusing for Faye. I don't think she was in the wrong at all. No, Aaron knew he had made a huge mistake. Which is why it was him who eventually broke the ice in the bedroom.

Lol.

Yes his opinion had changed quite a bit... must be weird to build an opinion of someone from clips and then meet them and relaise immediately they are completely different... and rather than being fake they are genuine. I think it probably helped that Aaron was almost a bit starstruck... I think Brian likes bit of ego stroking tbh.
He started backtracking on the thursday before the final. It will be interesting how they relate to Aaron in January during CBB.He is likely to be the only C5 winner around as Paddy is in trouble with the law.

She certainly was !

Wouldn't it be great at some point in the future to find out Aaron's opinion on all his HMs having watched every HLs show ? I'd love to know.

We only got this secondhand but, according to Jay, Aaron had told him later that he had deliberately said he'd pick Alex over Faye as a way to manipulate the public into saving Faye. Jay couldn't understand how that would work and, I have to say, I can't either, but unless Jay misunderstood what he said that whole thing was part of a plan

My family used to have a cottage on....er....Aaron Island.
No wolves, but a fair few rutting stags.
