I agree he handled the situation badly and his response via Alex was out of being attacked IMo and hurt.She said straight off she was disappointed in him and he had put her up.He was stung became upset and hit back.What he said was wrong and designed to hurt and it was not true.
The reason I was angry was she went and joined in the vitriol outside. Things he said to her were repeated and this made things worse.Much like frostie gate, repeating stuff said between them to his enemies in the house.
Just like burpgate and every other gate,Aaron said stuff he does not mean when he is hurt.
I don't blame her for being angry,its understandable, its how she chanelled that anger that annoyed me.I expected some loyalty from her.Their argument should have remained between them.
As for him being wrong, we never saw that full nom thing, apparently they had 8 go's and it was Loo that put up faye not Aaron.He went with his own choices knowing the rest could still fix things but they did not.
Being unable for confrontation, as soon as they attacked him he got flustered and gave stupid replies.He never meant the Alex thing.Why did he have that devil costume on as well, very shadey.

Yes I remember Jay mentioning this to Louise but without seeing the original conversation between Aaron and Jay it's difficult to understand?
It's still unfathomable but I just think Aaron was taken by surprise that Louise was savvy enough to manipulate her vote to produce a head to head with Faye. I think he genuinely thought five would be up & when it all went wrong he panicked & made an even bigger problem.

Yes it was Louise who was ultimately responsible for putting Faye up & the Devil costume plus the horrific editing & false impression of the nomination process was all designed to make Aaron the evil villain. His comment to Faye re Alex, at the time must have felt to BB like all their Birthday's had come at once?
Not sure he was hurt or upset with Faye when she said she was disappointed as she also said she wasn't annoyed ( if you believe her she thought he had just made a mistake). To me Faye was pretty clear headed & non confrontational at this point. Although perhaps your right and he was hurt by what she said and lashed out?
As for the vitriol perhaps you can point out some other instances? As the only iffy part that comes to mind seemed to occur right after Aaron's explanation. This was when Faye was sitting with Tom & Alex. She certainly gave an incorrect account of what Aaron actually said but I think I could make a far more logical excuse for this in comparison to Aaron's confusing excuse. Although I do agree this conversation was not Faye's finest moment either.

Well probably after a night out chilling out and watching the Xfactor was the best thing,hence the no show.However last night on my FB ticker Aaron and Faye were adding fans unto FB.They are not always very far though we dont always see it.

Its the feed on the top right hand side as you look at the screen. It tells you what other people are doing i.e Faye and Joe Bloggs are now friends or OK Magazine added a new photo etc.

. I've been on other threads where we've talked about all sorts of unrelated subjects to the thread subject, eg favourite ice cream flavour and such, but never seen before a warning that we're talking off topic - bizarre

Well I thought Aaron was gorgeous instantly
but after his VT and walk to the house I thought he seemed a bit arrogant and full of himself. However, once inside the house I started to like him almost immediately, when him, Harry and Rebekhah were distancing themselves from the other housemates who were playing up to the cameras, and he was already coming out with some zingers my fascination with him began and gradually as the days went by I liked him more and more and was already voting for him on the first eviction night. I think the first week he kept his vulnerable side under wraps but I first saw signs of it when Faye was talking to him after Tashie's eviction and that really endeared me to him, as well as when they had their first date and he got all excited about it ; "Cuddly but dangerous" !Thankfully I watched the extra clips and read the updates on the website as well as getting the twitter updates from this thread so I got a much fuller picture of Aaron so was not fooled by the editing. Aaron has his faults but his good points outweigh his bad points

Yep Lou portrayed herself as the martyr and good person who sacrificed herself to save Tom, Lou and Jay
yet no-one blamed her for putting Faye up. I don't know why Aaron didn't tell anyone of his convo with Lou in the bathroom - it would have helped his case but Aaron does not like confrontation and I think just felt the whole household was against him at that stage. I think he did eventually convince Faye that Lou put her up but Faye was too upset by the comment about him saving Alex over Faye which was not Aaron's finest moment admittedly ! Present gate Aaron had a right to be miffed that they did not even tell him what they were going to do beforehand, and again Lou wanted to portray herself as the good person who was doing a good deed. You could see how pained Jay was with doing it, I think 100% they wanted to do it to look good with the public.

Of course he did not expect Lou to change her vote - there is no way he would have wanted Faye to be up in a two way eviction. He also fully expected to be up as well in a five way eviction. As Faye said in her eviction interview they had to abort their nominations a couple of times (when they were sticking to the plan) as Big Brother kept telling them to re-vote as BB knew what they were up to. Faye also stressed that Louise and Aaron mucked the plan up so I am glad she mentioned Louise and realised her part in it. I personally think Aaron was thinking they won't let us vote this way and decided to go with his original plan and vote for whom he would have voted for in the first place. If Lou hadn't done what she did Aaron wouldn't have faced such flak.
Aaron should not have made the saving Alex comment over Faye but I think he was talking about Alex deserving to be in the final because she had a smile on her face all the time and was such a positive person - he separated it for his feelings for Faye on a personal level, but it just came out bad because he was on the defensive. As Faye was leaving the room he was trying to explain to her that on a personal level he put Faye first and that he was talking about the game.

X Factor was a borefest :yawn: for me this year, wasn't really inspired by any of the acts tbh and loathe as I am to say it I missed Mr Cowell's ascerbic comments - I think Misha B was the stand out act this year, however I think she was damaged by certain allegations made about her which is a real shame!

Like you I thought Aaron seemed a bit arrogant on opening night. My first thought (and I remember this very clearly) was that he was walking like his jeans had been starched! I often wonder why he seemed to walk so strangely
Has anybody ever asked or found out? Thankfully once inside the house my opinion changed fairly quickly.

Yes. I assume its because you only follow those two and don't have any "likes" on there. I am friends with loads and like everything from Big Brother to The Big Bang Theory and probably anything in between so my ticker is always moving.

Most of us knew it already but this exposed Louise & her shadyness for all to see. In this instance I'm not blaming Aaron for not telling anyone of his conversation with Louise. As if I was him I would have thought she had already told them of her actions. Later on when it became clear that she hadn't then I agree he should have opened his mouth.

Completely agree.
It would have been interesting to see how things would have worked out if Faye had been in the house at this point instead of Louise. Could be wrong but I suspect she would have convinced Aaron to have bought a lower valued present. There certainly wouldn't have been any underhanded shadyness.

As Faye said in her eviction interview they had to abort their nominations a couple of times (when they were sticking to the plan) as Big Brother kept telling them to re-vote as BB knew what they were up to. Faye also stressed that Louise and Aaron mucked the plan up so I am glad she mentioned Louise and realised her part in it. I personally think Aaron was thinking they won't let us vote this way and decided to go with his original plan and vote for whom he would have voted for in the first place. If Lou hadn't done what she did Aaron wouldn't have faced such flak.”

Agree with most of this just a little unsure to who would have been up if Louise had stayed on script.

Yes I understand this but completely disagree with him doing it. He may have felt Alex deserved a place in the final but over your girlfriend who you love
TBH I don't think Aaron really felt this way it was just a terrible attempt to justify his actions during nominations. If he had more time to sit and think about it, then I believe his explanation would have been very different (probably would have involved mentioning Louise). It goes back to what I said earlier in that Aaron is a thinker & in this scenario he was put under severe pressure & for once had to think on his feet. He then blurted out what he thought sounded reasonable without really thinking of the upset it would cause Faye.

!!He did walk like that as well when he came out of the house, but that was the only similarity to his walk in the house. The arrogant demeanour he had on opening night was totally absent and we had the real Aaron, albeit a shell-shocked Aaron by the horrible boos he was getting!!

Louise was furious with him, she knew quite well that she could put 5 of the 6 up but she wanted to get back at him, so chose Faye; her reason for nominating Faye was rather long and bitchy also. As we now know BB were never going to allow all 6 up, so Aaron broke ranks (after about eight attempts at noms) assuming Lou would go with 5 up and be done with it. Aaron was awkward with his explanation to Faye, when trying to justify what he did. Faye saw through all this though eventually and knows it was Lou who put her up for eviction.

This is so true & is why for me Faye'e final week made for such uncomfortable viewing in terms of her interaction with Louise. Especially so on eviction night in the garden as Louise was certainly no real friend to Faye.

Trying to pay extra attention to all things Aaron and In the early days of BB it almost looks like he has a small amount of highlights in his hair. I didn't notice anything on launch night, but during the first few weeks I'm sure he had blond "chunks" in his hair.

I agree, later, he is almost a fair redhead/mousy , very similar colouring to my oldest son.
