I agree - he wanted Lou out and have ben focusing on that for a few weeks. He wanted her out F&F week but was scuppered by the F&F noms. He thought out of all of them she didn't deserve a place in the final. He was right. However he underestimated her shadiness and her ability to calculate and play the game. He was outplayed!

Regarding reasons why Aaron chose to save Alex over Faye, I do think it MAY have had something to do with the fact that Alex's mother didn't nominate him, and was the only F&F from the remaining HMs not to do so. I think he felt he owed at least that much to Alex's mother, that her daughter got a safe passage to the final.

Obviously, he couldn't be honest about this to Faye; her mother did nominate him after all. It would have been a slightly awkward conversation, to say the least. He only half-explained his decision her, and the way it came out would have obviously hurt Faye.

Aaron even maintained throughout that he was sticking to his principles. His principles in this case may be showing loyalty to those who have shown faith in you?

So many possibilities..

I am so cynical about all the editing on the show especially as we see how happy Aaron and Faye are together now - lots of good stuff between them was cut out I'm sure. We got all the Jayloo sickly sweet stuff ad nauseum but for the large part Aaron and Faye stuff was focussed on arguments, even tiny ones like her not wanting him to shave his beard off when several nice things had happened on that particular day from twitter updates we got, they had to focus on the highlights show on something slightly negative, which wasn't even really an argument

We got not even a snippet of their long conversation when they talked about their lives after Big Brother.

Everyone seems to forget that Jayloo conversation !
Imo Louise panic-picked Faye for noms because she was focused on her own 3 noms and in the moment chose Faye to go up against her, completely forgetting that it didn't matter that she herself had more noms than anyone else and that the others (bar Alex) would still be up for eviction alongside her if she had stuck to the plan.

Even Jay believed this to be the case, and realised that Louise had inadvertantly put herself in a one-on-one battle with Faye by mistake.
The only thing Aaron did ' wrong ', imo, was not having the whole thing out with all of them and at least shown them to be hypocrites if they then continued to slate him whilst not giving the same treatment to Louise.
Admittedly that's not his style, and in any case the viewers who couldn't see the hypocrisy of his HMs were probably a lost cause anyway - but it might have made his time in the house a little easier.

I agree with you. Aaron was pretty much the house scapegoat by the time the Halloween noms came around - for slights and transgressions both real and imagined. I'm afraid Tom and sadly Faye must take their fair share of the blame for this. Was a BB winner ever slated so much by his HMs, even those supposedly close to him ? I can't think of a single one.

Unfortunately, at the time of kissgate Faye's actual romantic relationship with Aaron was all in her own head. What girl in their right mind invites a good looking girl like Maisie into the bed, curses the guy she's supposed to fancy and then gets out of the bed telling the other two to get on with it or wtte ???
It's beyond bizzare behaviour which I can only put down to the demon drink.






I have no doubt Aaron will watch every last episode of the HL shows.
Saying that, I'm sure they would both be perfectly able to watch them together. They would probably just laugh and shrug at the things that had us spitting feathers.

That'd be cool if it worked out. I've listened to the show a few times during the last BBUS season and liked the two guy hosts. It just seems hard to get Aaron's attention on twitter or FB. Do you know if the host has actually contacted him?

What is everyone's view on Aaron using poppets in his twitter name? On a thread on MF there is a debate about the use of poppets in the Faye vs Aaron followers thread. Some find the term patronising and unmanly or people wouldn't find it - what do those in the app thread think? Do people think he should drop it?

He did know hence the game playing comment from Aaron during the row after.Head games were being played Imo to maybe make Aaron jealous.Faye was very drunk though and acting silly.She tried to put her hand on Antons pants.
I think half her attitude the next day was mortification and guilt.
