i also saw in the thread that people suggested it's impossible to find him. that's because he doesn't have "big brother" in his bio and average viewers wouldn't know his last name. i know it was suggested to him he make those changes, but he didn't.

Yes I do, I don't find it patronising, but I do think Aaron has possibly overestimated the popularity of his little phrases, although they do seem to be popular on the fb group, maybe it's just here that people aren't so into them. It was a little endearing thing about him but not the reason i liked him or voted for him.

aaronspoppets is not a good twitter name, If I didn't know and saw Faye tweeting someone called Aaronspoppets I'd assume she was tweeting a fan page!

eta: I'd much rather he called himself Aaron the Master Gameplayer or Aaron the manipulator! That would be hilarious.

another eta as I seem to be the only one who has said yes he should change it, I don't find it unmanly or patronising and have no problem with whatever he chose, just don't think it's a practical name!

Your personal Twitter username should ideally relate to yourself, and not your fans, or anybody else.

He's effectively referring to his fans in his username, and calling us all poppets.
