Sony has bought Ericsson... Will there be a refresh of Sony mobiles? Should I wait?

I've got the SE X10 mini pro and was thinking of getting the updated version of it. However, now that Sony has bought Ericsson, should I wait incase they do a refresh of the phones? I don't want to buy it just to find out that they are refreshing it (like last time).

I can buy a phone any time I like as i'm not on a contract but next Christmas I get a free upgrade so I can wait till then, if I don't hear anything by then I'll just get the mini pro I guess.

Do you know if SE will be updating android on the mini pro? Because after the 2.1 update they totally abondoned the original X10 mini pro and I really don't want that to happen.

Get a different Sony such as the Arc and keep them both.

Phones change/improve all the time so 2nd hand they will be cheap anyway.

I have an Arc running a custom ROM at 1.6 gHz and it is great.

You won't see any "Sony" phones for at least 6 months due to how long it takes to develop a new device. I have had a go on a X10 mini and owned an X10 and the current crop of SE phones are way better.
