Come Christmas time there's nothing I like better than to sit in front of the TV and stuff my face with Bendick's Mingles.

The only problem is I can't find the tins anywhere. There are the boxes but they're a bit of a rip off for how many you get inside.

Has anyone spotted the tins anywhere this year?

I think the replies so far might be demonstrating why there are no tins in shops

If it helps OP you're not going mental, they definitely used to have tins as I still have one in a cupboard somewhere, full of bits n bobs. No idea if they're still to be found anywhere though.

There were no tins around here last year, as I specifically remember looking for them as I was going through a Mingles 'phase'. I just assumed they'd never had them in tins. I've only ever seen them in boxes, but I've only ever bought or looked for them within the past 18 months or so.

Weird, this thought crossed my mind whilst in Asda at the weekend as I remembered I'd bought 2 large tins from there early in 2010 for £2.50 each! I recalled my consternation at the time over the price - they must've been getting rid of them. Had I known, I would've:-
a) bought more;
b) kept them all to myself!

Ugh, I hate mint chocolate. Just eat plain chocolate after brushing your teeth - easier than trawling the shops for the mysterious 'mingles'.

We had a tin of mingles last year, but your right I haven't seen the tins this year. Maybe they weren't a great seller.

Just thought I'd update this thread with the bad news from Bendicks, incase anyone else, like me, was fancying buying some but couldn't see them anywhere:

http://www.bendicks.co.uk/faq.html#faq22

Where can I buy Mingles?

Unfortunately, we no longer produce Mingles. Why not try our Mint Collection instead?
