I must admit that you did make me laugh with your HD comment.
As for the young lads I don't believe that they would have done it that's the difference. He does make my skin crawl.

But he did say " if she WAS my daughter " which changes things ever so slightly in my view....

Well aside from the Britney Spears comment and my thoughts on the shower he leers at the girls also. There is nothing wrong with having an appreciation however he does it in a way, that as a woman myself, you pick up that it is horrible.
He comes across as a dirty old man.

Lee Stafford is old enough to be Jessicas dad. Does that make him a perve too?

I'm not a woman so i guess i see it differently but he's a lot closer to jessicas boyfriends age than i am so i guess she doesn't think age is an issue.

A joke? How is it meant to be funny though?

Who did he say it to?

I have not seen her boyfriend at all apart from the gorilla task. I should think that he is a decent guy as Jess comes across as very level headed. An older man dating a younger woman is fine if it makes them both happy. It is their business and you can tell by what she said that she obviously loves him.
I think that it is totally different to Pat though. He still is a dirty old man in my view. I can't see myself changing from that point of view either.

Thing is, when it was first said as a joke it probably was meant as a joke but with HIS history of bad taste and lewd comments to the young girls in the jungle ( young enough to be his daughters , incidentally .......... doesn't seem funny at all , well not in a comedic sense, anyway .

I said earlier that i didn't find it funny but it is a one liner i've heard used more than once by comedians. As for who he said it to,i don't know,it was on the radio.

Age didn't come into it for me. It was the fact that he said "If she was my daughter....."

It was an obscene comment.

I liked him when I was younger, and wanted to like him in this. In fact, I did for the first day or so, but now he just really creeps me out.

He didn't say it recently. He made a comment about saying it years ago on the radio and getting in trouble for it.

Thats probably because you're used to him reading a script.the real Pat Sharp is far less funny than the one who used to perv on the twins on Fun House.

He told repeated the supposedly funny line only the other night , he clearly doesn't see anything wrong with it even now ....that's a concern .

Who hasn't got previous? Everyone has said something innapropriate at one point or another, the only difference is he said it on the radio. He said it was a mistake and thats good enough for me.

Would anyone even be discussing it, if he hadn't brought it up himself?

You would think that he would have learned his lesson from having been reprimanded about it before, but he obviously hasn't, as he still says it on national TV.
