Wasn't he asked by Jess if he had ever done something like that on air? It wasn't as if he was saying it there and then either. He said he made a mistake. Respect to him for at least telling the truth and admitting on TV he did something stupid.

I think the people who already had a problem with him just heard what they wanted to hear.

Don't recall him saying he'd been stupid ... just suspended .
I also got the impression that he saw nothing wrong with the comment ... judging by his face ...

Look up the phrase "faux pas" and then go onto youtube and watch it again.

I'm saying it was a stupid comment, hes admitting to doing something wrong on TV. So he has to start weeping or something to prove he's not down with the content of a joke which supposedly isn't even his own?

Nothing like the same scenario!

Pat's might have been a throwaway remark but had incestuous overtones, was creepy and was just ......... ugh! IMO of course. I'm not saying by the way that I think he's guilty of anything of that nature! Just that the joke isn't in good taste. It's an old joke and should have been left in the past IMO.

However I AM in two minds about who I want to win the trial between him and Fatima. Whatever Pat's like, he keeps the camp stirred up and interesting.

It was a joke. The kind of thing Frankie Boyle and Jimmy Carr get away with every week.

Whilst he's talking about it his eyes keep going down to Jess's breasts. Yuck.

If she was famous for any other reason you might have a point.

You still up. I would have thought that all that HD entertainment on the TV would have tired you out. I mean your not a spring chicken anymore by the way you keep sticking up for the oldie in the camp. I'm starting to wonder if your an ex private school boy that was on the debating team. You seem to just like to debate a point that I think you really don't believe in just because you enjoy it..

1.I'm sticking up for him because people are attacking him for a joke he didn't even make up,which he now admits was a mistake.

2.I'm 31 and the last time i checked Edgware High wasn't a private school 15 years ago.

I was joking. I am sorry if you feel offended by what I wrote. It wasn't meant to offend.
As for private school it's not meant to be offensive anyway. Like you I went to a normal comp however my children all go to private school. One of my boys is boarding as his chosen school is too far to commute to every day and comes home at weekends. I miss him so much however it's the school that he chose and wants to attend. I would be a real hypocrite to put someone down for attending private school.
I actually think that you debate really well on here. I don't agree with you however although you do put across some really good points.

You didn't offend me,i was just answering your insinuations.I don't have anything against private schools either, people who go to them tend to have a better chance of success in life and i'd never begrudge a parent wanting that for their kids but for my parents it was miles out of their budget.
As for debating,i've had a lot of practice on The Sun forums and people didn't agree with me much on there either but in this case i feel a bit sorry for Pat and it seems like people are more concerned with vilifying him than actually looking at what was said.

Anyway,i am off to bed now cos i can barely keep my eyes open and i'm too young to be falling asleep in the chair.

How ironic. Maybe Pat should be allowed to do what you did instead of getting slated left right and centre. Or is there one rule for his jokes and another for yours?

Your right my comment was about young girls and therefore outrageous. Oh sorry that was Pat I have every right to be pulled up by you on a personal apology to 1Mickey.
I knew when I wrote it that an apologist for Pat would jump on it however I thought an apology was more apt than not saying anything at all.
Maybe if Pat had seemed more apologetic for his vile comment there would be so many people thinking badly of him.

Why does he have to be apologetic on TV for a comment he made on the radio who knows when? He might have already made an apology ages ago anyway.

A comment that would have been forgotten about had he not chosen to repeat it.. It is therefore not unreasonable to assume that he feels that it is ok to say things like that.
