Y'all just can't accept that Pat clearly recognises that it was silly/wrong.”

I'll just go and check my grip, Tarquin84. Perhaps you could nip out for some basic courtesy at the same time

Yeah, he was a bit of a hero of mine. Every kid totally wanted to go on it . If the public could be reminded of that, they'd get his personality I think.

This thread is getting totally out of order. If this comment was inappropriate for TV as OFCOM clearly said originally why the HELL has ITV broadcast it then?

Good for you, if you get his personality from about 30 minutes of footage from TV.

Nope, but I've seen other bits of work of his over the years which is more than 30 mins and something to base another opinion on. I'm saying it's an opinion, you're entitled to it . I just think if people watched his other stuff they might like him - Just another opinion.

That's cool. His sense of humour is the same kind of style if more rude. I kind of think he's just doing all that because he finds it boring in there and wants to liven it up by being the 'panto villain'. I'd be a bit bored personally if Pat wasn't there, they just moan around a fire about cooking. He might not be like that at all. Who knows.

If there has been anybody who has exhibited sleazy behaviour this year it is Mark "can you see the growth in my pants" Wright.

Don't waste your time, there actually are a large percentage of the UK that have fantasies of or are actually partaking in incestual relationships so not everyone will find Pat's comments offensive.

He should be ashamed of himself. What did he actually expect Jessica to say? "Oh you can pretend I'm your daughter"

I assume it's a time and a place thing. Presumably he made the original comment in the wrong setting - a gentle daytime radio show or whatever where people wouldn't expect to hear crude jokes. I see nothing wrong with it being repeated it in a show like IAC, at night.

BTW some people on this thread are pathetic - it's a joke. He's not seriously suggesting he would still bathe his 20 year old daughter if they were Britney - IT'S A JOKE.
