I bought the 650 yesterday and its amazing especially on HD stuff from my PS3.

Had a Samsung 40" till then and this is miles in front of it and i haven't even started to play with the 3d bit yet (but to be honest i didn't buy it for 3d, just makes sense if your buying a new Tv at the moment to get it anyway).

Paid £849 at Currys with a free LG blu ray player (cheapest on net is 003112) don't need one so will sell it.

Tv wise you gain 200hz and it's the smart Tv range.

Hope this helps.

Thanks T

Before I could order it went out of stock at JL and now their website has a revised price of £899 now

Also note this offer from Sky

https://rewards.sky.com/skyloyalty/h...SkyCOM_lgoffer

So you maybe can claim £100 cashback..........check it out

I note the offer you took up with free BR is now finished

Always seems the way. Manufacturer makes a cash back offer, and all the retailers prices go up by the same amount....

Unless you are desparate for Christmas, I would hang on for the January sales.

Mind you, they seem to start in December these days.

In the current economic climate, there have to be some better bargains on the horizon.

I have been in touch with JL,they will price match RS @ £779 and I can get another £100 refund direct from Sky,so the the cost for the TV with a 5 year warranty and delivered would be only £679 ,just awaiting JL getting it back into stock

Can this Tv convert 2DTV programmes to 3DTV

I think all 3D TV's offer 'simulated' modes, but it's not really 3D.

It's unnatural, it makes picture frames, pictures in books and other unwanted 3d things, 3d...

Some TV's do a better job than others. Vestel ones don't have it at all

When I spoke to their CS and they advised me that they were due into stock ( X 103 ) in their warehouse on Monday the 12th DEC,they actually arrived into free stock on the 13th , I ordered mine and it arrives on Saturday, they did advise me the next delivery into their warehouse is Monday 19th , they will become available soon after that, just keep checking, they seem to sell very quickly and they seem to get deliveries each Monday

I did register to be emailed when they became available but their Email arrived after it had gone back out of stock

The price is reduced to £799 online and Sky customers can get a further £100 if purchased on or before the 24th DEC

sorry got in late last night but providing you dont have a mini it should be fine just dont let the shop assistant help.

Thanks for providing the info coopermanyorks

Got to say the more i use it the more impressed i am, only downside is that my Samsung 652 used to turn over to the correct channel when Ps3 and Freesat box was turned on, Simplink however is poo.

A cheque arrived today from LG for £100,so the TV has cost me £679 delivered with a free 5 year warranty, result for me its a great 3D tv,how did I ever manage with only a 32 incher, which is now banished to the conservatory

And Lovefilm streaming now works to
