EE Jail spin off?
With Bianca,.Ronnie and Chrissie Watts all in jail -would it be a good idea for the BBC to commision a spinoff miniseries featuring these three Walford legends?Perhaps all sharing the same cell even? Its amazing to think their all in jail,in theory they will be interacting and meeting each other in one of the UKs few womens jails.Plus all three characters are played by excellent actresses who could pull off and indeed carry a miniseries.

It'd be kind of ironic, considering loads of the Bad Girls cast ended up on Eastenders afterwards!

I don't know how the prison system works but would a baby-swapper, murder and GBH-er all be in the same cell or even wing or would we be using artistic licence...that old chestnut

It's very likely Ronnie, Bianca and Chrissie are in the same prison together. Sam was worried about bumping into Chrissie when she went to prison last year but it was never stated if she actually did see her or not. It would be a good idea for a little spin off or even a few episodes but it will never happen unfortunately.

Nah, do Ronnie and Bianca even know Chrissie?
It would be good to have a special showing Bianca and Ronnie sharing a cell and have them come back as mates later on, they worked really well in that 3hander, where they spoke about burning clothes and stuff. |

Ronnie and Bianca didn't know Chrissie personally but they were well informed of Sam's involvement in Den's death. It stands to reason they'd know about Chrissie. Ronnie in particular would have to have some knowledge of her since she gave her life savings for Sam's bail which was then lost when Sam went on the run again.

Bianca probably would know about chrissie too as she was the one that shot her in to the police in september 2009 when sam first returned!
I'm sure Bianca was informed by someone in 2005 or later that Sharon's dad was murdered again

Would make for an interesting mini-series. One would assume, a woman like Chrissie Watts would be top dog too!
Who else is there? Could another past Eastender who just left of their own accord now be banged up. Perhaps Julie or Vanessa? Would be an interesting way to start the series, with one of the former (but still reasonably recent) characters being put in prison. |
