A group of elderly people came in the gentleman had fallen over and hit his head and while he was being assessed in Triage the two ladies with him started to talk to us but unfortunately one was hard of hearing "what's wrong with you ? They asked Jim" I've hurt my elbow" he said " I fell over in Truro this afternoon" he lied through his teeth. I have been waiting for my results for hours.
He hurt his elbow Elsie the old lady shouted to her deaf companion, and he has waited for three hours for his results poor chap he must be in pain, why do old people talk as if you are not even there lol.
He looks very fit though the deaf one said as if we weren't even there yes his wife looks like the one who is in pain. I didn't even bother explaining lol. It did annoy me though when they went through to see there companion in the casualty ward that they came over and wished Jim luck with his results and hoped he didn't have to wait much longer.
