The music was took loud and awful and the the routine too modern jazz funk, did not like it at all.

I thought the dance was great but would have looked fantastic to a bit of crooner music.

I hated the music, didn't think it worked at all. And Holly looked a bit bored at times during that.

I enjoyed the dance very much but I do wish they'd use more traditional ballroom and Latin dance music on this show!

I liked it too, even the music grew on me.
I actually felt a smidge of chemistry between them for once

I absolutely loved it- one of the stand out dances of the night.

Artem is working within her capabilities. Even at her most animated she still looks a bit lethargic.

The music was awful and Holly's blunted expression In places was offputting, but it was one of my top 3 performances of the night (the other 2 were Harry and Chelsee). In fact I'd probably have put it joint first with Harry if the music was better.

Interesting that the judges criticised the music choice. Means it was Artem's or Holly's, not Moira's.

Like Craig, I had thought in advance that the music was a distinctly odd choice and that it just wouldn't work. Well, I'm happy to admit I was wrong as I absolutely loved it. Terrific take on the traditional foxtrot, excellently danced and, AT LAST, some chemistry.

In fact, I got a bit miffed about the 8s, as I thought it deserved 9s across the board. Just my opinion, of course.

On the other hand, I was distinctly underwhelmed by H&A in the wretched swingathon...

Holly's coolness really worked in that dance, I absolutely loved her in it, it really suited her.

I loved it, too - despite the screeching in the background - and I hope it gets Holly through. She's lovely.

I think Holly wants out now.

I loved it just not the music

The music was terrible but thought the dance itself was fairly good. Certainly much better than those of Anita, Robbie and Alex.

I liked the dance in and of itself, and she danced it well. But, she was still far to laid back. There's a fine line between 'effortless' and 'can't be bothered'.

I've been thinking this for weeks now, but she needs to look at her partner a lot more. She spends a lot of her time looking down or away, and I think this is where some of the 'laid back' impression is coming from. For me it gives the impression she is not in the zone, or like she is walking through it.

I also really don't want to sound rude or be personal – not my style. But I'm also wondering if she has had some work done to her face, as it seems muted in expression sometimes. I'm not criticising or pointing fingers, and I only mention it in terms of her performance.

I really liked it, my favourite dance of the night

I loved it (the music too)! I acknowledge that Holly is not exactly the most energetic or dynamic dancer on the show, but there is something very enigmatic about her and Artem's partnership that draws me to them.

I found looking for gloves on ebay a lot more interesting. That says it all for me...

I loved the music, the dance and Holly's look tonight. I would have placed them second to Harry's QS .

To be fair, I don't think Harry inhabits the dance in his face any more than Holly, but he doesn't seem to attract much comment for it (I do think he's got sharper feet though, even if he is a bit pigeon toed )

Good point! I absolutely loved Harry's quickstep tonight, but he looked terrified throughout! The footwork, hold, sway, everything else really, was fantastic, but not his face.

BIB - I think that's a good point about some of their dances, but it wouldn't be appropriate in any foxtrot for the dancers to gaze into each other's eyes, would it? And in this particular foxtrot, it wouldn't have been in character either, I would have thought.

Wasn't overly keen on the faffing at the start, but I thought throughout the dance Holly performed very well. From a man's point of view it was a very sexy Foxtrot and Holly sold the dance very well.

Was prepared to loathe it, but was pleasantly surprised.....

Then came along Chelsee, Jason and Harry, and I realised that even at her best, Holly is still the weakest of the top four. Chelsee looks to have better leg and footwork, Jason better characterisation and Harry looks keener.

So the impression Holly & Artem's number created was short-lived for me. Still, I'm glad they decided not to go for a lift in the end!
