I've got to say with the degree of difficulty and choreograhy I think C&P were undermarked for their Argentine Tango.

For the first few weeks I didn't notice Chelsee and Pasha but now I want them to win.

Actually I agree, they were undermarked. I think Harry was better (and I'm a Chelsee fan), but she was better than Jason, who seemed to make more mistakes.

I agree.Im glad that on the final leaderboard she has (rightfully )the 2nd place.

I love Chelsee and Pasha and they are my favourites to win, but their AT was not one of my favourite dances. The footwork was great (and this is an area where I thought Chelsee might struggle), but she leant back as if in a ballroom dance rather than forward (the A frame that Craig was talking about), and there was little dramatic connection between them. So, for me, not their best dance.

I don't think she was undermarked but she should have been above Jason imo, I'm far from an expert but to my untrained eye that looked like the most technically difficult AT since Rachel and Vincent's, very impressed with the footwork which has always been Chelsee's weakness before but I felt her frame was more ballroom tango than Argentine unfortunately.

Chelsee has been ill since thursday (that's why she missed Camilla's visit) and in view of this, I thought she performed exceptionally well. I agree with the judges' comments though - it was technically very good and she made no mistakes, but I would have liked to see the close Argentine Tango hold, which would have really helped sell the dance.

Have voted for her - want her in the final with Harry!

I adore these two, but their Argentine Tango (as well executed as it was) didn't grab me.

I think Chelsee psyched herself out of it. I don't want to hear her sounding so defeatist again.

She was above Jason in the end because of the swingathon score so the leaderboard was correct.
Hello.

Sorry to say I felt a little let down by her dance today. The dreadful dress didn't help I just didn't feel the passion at all - but I can understand that she doesn't see him in that way of course. The dance just didn't feel intimate at all.

I love Chelsee and Pasha too and I really had high hopes for their AT and I hoped for 10s and she would have got them too but for that awful cold she has - probably took out chunks of training time she would have had otherwise.

I have to agree that the choreography was quite complex though and that the execution was absolutely stunning but I don't think she was undermarked - it was probably spot on. It's unfortunate that Jason seemed to be overmarked and I hated his facial expression all through the dance so much so it's all I could pay attention to in the end.

But her Swingathon performance was amazing and I'm absolutely fuming she was beaten to the 7 points by Harry and Aliona. I don't like that pairing at all. I liked her last year when she was with Matt but this year with Harry she's acting like Natalie did when with Ricky Whittle two years ago and I think that grated on a lot of people and lost them votes in the end.

Anyway, back on topic and back to Chelsee - as a Mancunian myself, I'm very proud to support her and think she and Pasha are an amazing partnership - Chasha FTW

I don't know - there is one photo in particular where Chelsee looks to be in a really awkward shape. I wasn't keen on her footwork and didn't find it as precise as an AT should be. I like Chelsee and her relationship with Pasha is sweet, and I think she'll go far, but I don't know.... I think it's the unfortunate alterations she's made that are affecting her dance silhouette for me. It's a shame.

I thought Chelsee was slightly under-marked. Especially when compared to past ATs that haven't been great (except Rachel/Vincent & Mark/Karen). Loving her and 'Pash'

The steps were there - it's just the raw passion which is expected of the AT that seemed to be a little bit lacking. That may be more to do with external circumstances (i.e. people talking about them being an item) that's stopping them from giving into the dance completely. I think the judges expected a bit more with Chelsee being an actress. I think she really wanted to underplay this one and because of colds and feelings and what not and the pressure of the dance itself underplayed it a lot more than she would have intended otherwise. It must be really nerve-wracking to do these sorts of dances week in week out with someone you seem to hardly know with the full media looking at your every move and trying to make something of it and even if they are spot on you can't and don't want to say anything because frankly it is actually none of their business. At the end of the day, if Chelsee and Pasha do have feelings for each other then the aftermath involves two people - one is Chelsee and the other is Pasha. Everyone else needs to step aside and let them get on with it as if the cameras never existed.

I'll rather they are undermarked than grossly overmarked, because nothing puts viewers (and potential voters) off more than a perceived (rightly or wrongly) judges' pet with hugely inflated and undeserved scores.

You are so right. I'd put Emma Bunton, Lisa Snowdon and Ricky Whittle in that category. Didn't work for them!

Absolutely. And in contrast with the middle- and the end-of-tablers, Chelsee isn't being given any marks for kindness. Neither are Harry or Jason. Except maybe once or twice by Alesha, but I'll let that slide.

As people have said, on a week where she's struggled with illness, and with a dance she doesn't take to, second on the leaderboard is terrific, especially if we think she's 'undermarked'. Haven't rewatched the show yet, but just from a real-time watch it seemed C and P were really happy with their performance, and they know best how it's been in rehearsal.

Competition is on!

Did Pasha's bum look big? In a good way, I mean... must have been those trousers.

I agree but I also think their marks are spot on. I just wish that Pasha would get a bit more praise for his choreo though as he's doing an amazing job and deserves to be told in front of an audience that he is and that's assuming he's being told that backstage. I do hope they do get some deserved 10s though before the series is out because they are to the untrained eye long overdue and needed especially if Harry is getting them at will. He's a talented guy but I've said it before and I'll say it again, it is much harder for the celebrity female to hold her own with her professional male partner than it is for the professional female to do the same with her celebrity male partner and I have to say that Aliona Vilani is exploiting this to the maximum. I hope that if it is a Chelsee/Harry final that everyone will see through her like they did last year and give Chelsee the trophy. At least she'd appreciate the support rather than Aliona thanking us at home for the support she rather expected. Well - not from me I'm afraid.

Hang on, they've been grossly overmarked up until this week

I'd like to see her win it. I think that certain couples are "expecting" the trophy but Chelsee isn't like that and Pasha certainly isn't counting his chickens. He is pushing Chelsee really hard because he knows she can do it - someone else is relying on their celebrity partners' huge fan base and the other on their celebrity partners' apparent sex appeal. I mean - he is indeed sexy but I wouldn't vote for him based on that fact! I'd vote for him on his dancing and IMHO he is second to Chelsee!

Doesn't take long for Chelsee's naysayers to keep carping about how overmarked, bad etc. she is.

Thank goodness those are on my ignore list.
