It's time for Robbie to go

I'm getting bored of his gimmicks, I can't remember if he's ever performed a serious Latin dance, he's always thrusting (out of time with the music) or sliding about on the floor like a kid.

.I fear that if he's saved this week he may get his 'johnson' out and swing it all about to gain extra votes.

I wish Ola would focus on creating a decent routine instead of filling it with nonsense, Imo, she's almost as bad as Anton in that regard.

Robbie and Ola are just trotting out the same thing time after time. And I was cringing at Robbie's rehearsed joke in Tess's Tower.

I'm fully expecting them to survive. I just hope we don't lose one of the four frontrunners at their hands in upcoming weeks.

I wasn't enjoying the routine, and then stripping off to reveal the football shorts was the last straw for me. I really hope he goes.

I agree with you all, it was gimmick after gimmick.

Also wasn't keen on the VT visiting his sick Dad, it didn't sit right after him saying he was pulling out all the stops to campaign this week.

It was time for Robbie to go several weeks ago. I'm really dreading him staying long enough to do the rumba (or has he done it and I've blanked it out).

He seems to be under the impression he's desirable to woman and a good dancer, but IMO he's quite clearly neither.

Time for him to go but actually Rory should not have gone before him.

Me neither. I'm sick of his antics.

His Samba bounce was grotesque! Ola hasn't learnt a thing either. She still circles him like a swingball from the '80s. Surely she must hit him in the back of the head eventually, it's just what they do.
Come on Robbie, you're quite a sweet guy for a footballing maniac but you're cluttering up the place.

Yes, I think it's time for him to go. And I think he thinks it's time for him to go. When he assumes Russel's role and takes his trousers off; that's a signal that he's given up.

He'll make it to the semis for sure. He's picking up alot of votes from somewhere.

I was appalled at the standard of Robbie's samba, which was over-praised and over-marked. It really was dire, of the standard you might expect in the first week. Ripping off his trousers at the end didn't improve it at all. Tacky, tacky, tacky.

He is, I suppose, the Gavin Henson of this series, but at least Gavin improved over the weeks and his dry sense of humour gradually won me over. Robbie Savage, on the other hand, is not improving and is trying my patience with his conviction that thrusting his pelvis at the camera is an acceptable alternative to dancing.

I hope he goes out this week, but for some reason he's popular so probably won't. Why? I just don't get it.

Before scd i'd never heard of Robbie Savage. When he and Ola first started dancing I thought he was an attractive bloke who could dance a bit. Now I wish I still had never heard of Robbie Savage - he is getting boring just like Russell Grant did.

I don't particularly like the guy but the public vote decides who stays. Hence he is entitled to stay regardless of ability.

He's showing a different side to the footballing community and he's donating his fee to a noble cause. But if he'd been with Lilia she'd have taken him in hand and he could be dancing like Matt Dawson by now. All he's learnt so far is how to be hypnotised by Ola's orbiting breasts.

Exactly. The show's been on nearly a decade. Surely we can accept this is how it works?

Well said.
I struggled with it for quite a while, but accept it now. After all, common sense usually prevails in the end and the good dancers are left in the final.
Robbie has something though. In spite of always wanting the best dancers to win, I can't help hoping he stays a bit longer!
I wont have a problem if Alex and Anita leave before him. It will be wrong for anyone else to be eliminated before he is.....unless he's about to make some miraculous improvements. ...........He must be due a ballroom dance soon

I'm expecting that, to be honest. We've done well to get the front runners this far. For a while there I was prepared to lose one of them at the hands of Russell.

It's very rare we get to the final stages with all the top contenders. There's usually always one that's considerably weaker, and they're usually there as the expense of a stronger contestant that will go before they perhaps should.

It wasn't so awful losing Zoe Lucker to Chris Hollins, because Chris was fun, and I did enjoy watching him, but I'm not sure I could enjoy watching Robbie, Alex or Anita in exchange for Chelsee, Holly, Harry or Jason.

Fully agree with the way you split them.
Hopefully the best dancers will stay til the end. I would still like to see Robbie for a week or 2 more, preferably at the expense of Alex and Anita.

Russell was better value than Robbie who is a talentless bore way past his sell-by date. (Not holding anything back here. It just irritates me that he isn't even trying to dance well anymore).

Get rid. Unfortunately I can see him going all the way to the final.

Robbie will never get my backing - but he'll go when the public no longer cast votes in his favour - and that's fine with me, because "He who pay the piper calls the tune."

I thought exactly that and thought Gavin was pants but in the last three weeks he did get much better, whilst Robbie is still just arsing about. His time is up now, but I guess that somebody else like Anita will be off tomorrow.

He was an embarrassment tonight, he really needs to go.

Ola should be sacked for creating that pants of a samba!

Her moves for Robbie (and Chris Hollins) in the latin are always:

1. Having Robbie stand with his legs apart and hands up in the air while she circles around like a pole dancer.

2. Making Robbie gyrate like a true-blue dad-dancer, making some gung-ho expression while doing so.

3. Pivots ala Chris Hollins.

4. Running promanades, lots of them, even in a foxtrot.

5. Throw in some random New Yorks, even though it's not a cha-cha.
