There's no particular BBC favouritism I don't think - Gethingate proves that (he was their golden boy at the time but Alesha had to win for some reason). However, I do think there is favouritism by the producers, based on whatever criteria they choose and yes they can manipulate the show to fit in with their agenda (good/bad VTs, dance routine choices for each week, runnning order etc). I've long since accepted not to take this show seriously as once the winner has been 'chosen' they'll go all out to try to make it happen.

At the end of the day, the format of the show is such that if Robbie picks up more votes than any of the others, he'll stay and if he doesn't he won't. It's not really about the dancing that much is it, it's mostly a personality contest pure and simple. I don't particularly like Robbie myself but if he wins, I wouldn't begrudge him as clearly the public (and the producers) love him.

Gethin, now he was boring, and still makes me go to sleep. Robbie, I like and I do feel sorry for him this week.
