Anyone else having trouble receiving a phone off o2 this week ?

Ordered a new phone from O2 on Tuesday from the O2 site.

Thought it was next day delivery but nothing arrived. Chased it up and was infromed it had been dispatched on the Tuesday and was with the courier .

Thursday came and nothing arrived . Contacted O2 and was told it was with Yodel and was infact despatched to Yodel on Tuesday .A tracking number was then provided for Yodel.

Went on the Yodel site , entered tracking number and it said the phone was dispatched for home delivery 7,35am on the Thursday.

9pm Thursday and still no phone so i contacted O2 and was told it would deffo be with me Friday by 9pm. Had the day off work and no phone. I again went on the Yodel website and tracked it which had no update.

Contacted o2 who now informed me it would be with me Saturday by 10am. Its now 9pm Saturday and still no phone and no update on Yodel website .

I rang Yodel several times and was transfered to a line that no one picked up.

Dunno what to do now as i cant have anymore time off work and have not got a clue when to expect the phone.

That sounds like the carrier is messing up. Call O2 and tell them you want it delivered to work.

Quality just contacted O2 and have been told the carrier do not deliver on weekends ..... soooo after being told on Friday by o2 that it would be here Saturday this now turns out to be not true I GIVE UP !!

I had a problem last month with O2 sending out a new PAYG phone for my daughter which I ordered from their website. Same courier - Yodel. To cut a long story short the courier lost the phone. The tracking showed the phone arrived at a depot and it stayed there permanently. The courier lied and said the phone would be delivered on another day - they didn't!.

As it was a birthday present I just went out and just bought her a phone from a shop instead. O2 got in touch with the courier and finally got them to admit that they had no idea where it was.

Not O2's fault but entirely the fault of the courier. But it did take several phone calls and a few weeks to finally get a refund. O2 no longer seem to answer emails anymore. Cutbacks I presume...

Yodel are rubbish, I ordered an item not from O2 but from Sports Direct this week, they also use Yodel, Next day delivery took 5 days to come

Yeah problem is deffo with Yodel , just looked on internet and there are loads of complaints about them

A couple of years ago Virgin Wines had a load of problems with the delivery company they used, just before Xmas too. There were loads of people who didn't get their orders before Xmas and Virgin sacked the company concerned and compensated customers who were affected with a free case of wine.

Whilst the fault is with the delivery company, O2 could take some action to deal with the problems. At very least, stop using this company which clearly isn't up to the job!

Well success at last ! despite O2 telling me last night that Yodel do not deliver on a weekend despite one of O2s customer care agents telling me they do the phone has been delivered to me tonight ( sunday ) at 6pm .

What i am most angry with is the lack of communication from the carrier company and the fact that o2 have no idea what they are upto. Shocking customer service from both companies
