Just wanted to say that that dance was wonderful - I've even watched it again on my laptop. Brilliant stuff - well done to both of them, a well deserved win.
Hello.

Me too, just watched it again on youtube as well as the Swingathon. Can't believe he looked so energetic and fit in that straight after the quickstep. He made it look easy too - he made them both look easy!

Dance of the series so far.

I hope it was the quality dance that some have said this series has lacked so far.

It was an excellent quickstep and deserved top place on the leaderboard - though if Chelsee had Anita's ability to 'act' the dance I think top place would have been a very close run thing.

Very good but when I compare it to Ricky& Natalie, Alesha &Matthew, Colin & Erin quickstep, I think its pretty average.
So far my 2nd favourite QS of the serie after Chelsee and Pasha QS(I know it only scored 36 but it was delightful.

Fab just fab.

Not as good as Tom & Camilla thought.

Loved Colin & Erin's too

Marvellous! Harry is such a nice, unassuming chap too. All the McFly guys seem like that, they are a decent bunch.
That quickstep tonight was something else.

It was a wonderful quickstep. At this point in the series Harry and Aliona look like the winners. I wouldn't mind if they did win, even though they're not my personal favourites.

I wish people wouldn't compare dancers to ones from past series, it's not relevant, they're competing with couples in this series.

I thought it was a v good dance. I also liked Chelsee and Pasha but I couldn't say which was the best.

I don't think the celebs are as good as on past series Though the judges and SCD people are desperate for the celebs to be better than they are, hence the over-use of 10s in other weeks.

Dance of the series for me too. Can't wait to rewatch it.

Harry and Aliona really shone tonight.

It was one of the best dances on Strictly ever - He was so good.
Was worried about Aliona's choreography but it was spot on tonight.

Hardly one of the best ever, but it was good. He/they will win it I hope - anyone but the mancunian chavette.

Much as I love Craig - wish he hadn't been nit-picking and had given them a 10 too..

I thought it was incredible

obvs im a Harry supporter and love the boy to bits but that (along with his AT) was the dance were he has managed to displace my established favourite for that particular dance.

Never thought I would see a QS I loved as much as Denise and Ian's well it took 7 years and 7 series but I will be damned if my boy just achieved the impossible.

Have already watched it back a couple of times and the speed and lightness he got the fact that his timing at such high speed was imaculate he was leading her all through there was hardly any gapping to speak of no obvious misstakes in his footwork and he had Sway (according to Ian that takes a lifetime to learn and is unheard of in strictly celebs, not anymore ) just incredible.

If that isn't one of the best dances we have ever seen on Strictly I'm eloping with Bruno Tonioli next weekend

Aliona deserves a massive round of applause

Loved it. Some of the others were overmarked, though.

Yeah, I agree with you. Craig why didn't you give it 10?
Should have been a 40!

I will watch it again - on first viewing it has not grabbed me although I acknowledge it was good.

Somehow Harry just lacks warmth for me
