Harry to win this year's SCD? Hmm, must be the favourite after tonight's show. 39 points for his dance!

Ditto. I just dont find harry exciting... I dont "connect" with him. (I felt the same way about Ricky Whittle, proficent but lacking in sparkiness).

I wouldnt mind if Harry won but I'd prefer Chelsee (best natural talent IMO) or Jason to win...

I wish people wouldn't compare dancers to ones from past series, it's not relevant, they're competing with couples in this series.”

I agree with you. I was thinking this as my computer was loading and wonder if anyone would compare couples. I have never heard anyone mention "sway" before and it was mentioned on ITT by Ian when talking about Harry and now it was mentioned again.

Well done Harry and Aliona!

Although this was not perhaps the best EVER Strictly Quickstep it was certainly up there. The real problem is that most dance this year (and perhaps last year) were overmarked when compared with some of the earlier brilliant quicksteps from series 5 (Alesha), series 6 (Tom), and series 7 (Ricky Whittle). ...... and definitely series 2 (Denise) and series 3 (Colin).

Overall though tonight, I really enjoyed it and I recognised the majority of the figures and there was not "batshit" weird "tangostep" or "quickgo" choreography.

Well done Aliona! (and Harry)

It was a wonderful Quickstep and the first time I have really sat up and thought, this guy can dance.

I am so happy that I can finally say there's one dance done by Harry that I truly enjoy. Deserved all the tens he got, and I am feeling a bit smug because I said he going to get up to 3 tens and he didn't disappoint (made mistakes)!

Well done, Harry and Aliona!

It was good, but not as good as Chelsee and Pasha's quickstep when they did it. The judges seem to like/favour Harry a bit imo.

Definitely the best dance of the night for me.

Like others, I still haven't entirely warmed to Harry. He's a nice middle-class boy and, in many ways, has as much reserve as Holly in her laid-back Aussie manner, but there's no denying that was an excellent quickstep. Too much concentration in his face, but that's a minor quibble.

And apologies to those who hate comparisons with other years, but at least one other male celeb has previously managed the sway that Ian enthused about - Ricky Whittle's quickstep was absolutely brilliant, with oodles of sway. Best male celeb quickstep EVAH!

IMO the viewers who complain of Harry lacking warmth, passion or personality are people who can't separate the dance from the personality.

I thought the comment on ITT that 'when Harry dances you can't tell which is the professional' was the ultimate compliment.

My old dad couldn't spot him on the dance floor in the Swingathon for ages because he seriously mistook him for one of the male pros.

I'm a Chelsee fan, but she is going to have to up her Game, to beat Harry...he just turned this in to a competition.

Harry's ballroom has been excellent since his waltz week but he's weaker in his latin routine. He always had that 'cool-for-school' expression, whether he's doing a 'fun' dance or a 'sexy' dance. At least in the QS, he actually attempted to SMILE for once. So that's an improvement.

As for Chelsee, she's equally good with her ballroom as well as her latin now. She's having an 'off' week being ill and all, and for getting second despite being under the weather, that goes to show just how TALENTED she is as a non-pro natural dancer she is.

I really hope for them to be in the finals and though I lust after Pasha and would like him win with Chelsee (whom I also adore), I won't grumble too much if Harry produces even more amazing dancing like his QS from now on till the finals and win in the end.

As long as these are the final 2, I will be very happy!

I loved the QS tonight, Harry was amazing!!

Harry and Aliona were superb. It's the first dance of this series that I would have marked a 10.
I thought Chelsee was brilliant as well. Admittedly, she did lack the necessary passion or intensity, but forgetting that it must have been close to a 10. Compared to those two, the rest were nowhere in my opinion..and If anyone was overmarked, it was Jason.

He's actually been smiling for the last few weeks, but he's never kept it up. I've noticed on repeat viewing that some of the moments where he has smiled the camera is quite far away so we can't see it, then unfortunately when it zooms in more his mouth is open.

Jason's Charleston was stupidly difficult. Can't imagine why Kristina thought it was a good idea to throw in the kitchen sink and make him do SUCH a difficult routine!

That's just silly, he is an excellent dancer, Ian Waite said he was almost at Pro Am level. And as for saying it is because of how he looks, he is my OH's fave, not just mine!
